Lake Norfork Resort, Henderson

great view of lake, pool, hot tub, reasonable rates, location, location, location! that's the good. the bad is bad-- Continouis failure to open ajoining night club, which once made hotel THE hotel on the lake, more recently the new owner of marina below, whose expansion of marina for GREED, has cost swim beach below @ henderson and cost demise of only dive shop on this end of lake on the water, therefore much bad blood between locals and henderson marina owner. if you don't use marina and care not for swim beach, hotels great for weekend get away!

I stayed at this facility about 9-10 yrs ago. It was ok then as I remember. 6-15-07 I stayed on a Fri. night in room 145 on the end first floor. There was a tour. of baseball players there that played hard ball in the drive in front of the rooms until 12:16 AM. Cars window beware. I called to complain to the front desk at 11 PM they were hitting our door with the ball, being loud, etc. Everyone has a right to have a good time but if quiet time is 10 PM then it's 10 PM. However, if those boys (college age)wanted to get up with with me at 5 AM (my prayer time)I probably would have overlooked a lot...hey, let's call them at 4:30 AM and invite them...my husband said no! Not only was it a wild time for all to hear there was a bug as big as Texas at the front of our door begging for his life and for my leg. Bugs-spiders were in the sink, bathroom floor, under MY pillow, in the ice bucket, on webs hanging from the ceiling, climbing on the wall and on the tv screen. The toilet did not flush until I prayed for it then 2 hrs later it was a miracle and just started working again. There was plenty of towels and the water pressure was good for the shower. However, if you are over 5' 7" tall you will need to remove the ceiling tile and stick your head thru the roof to take a shower as you will not fit! The water pressure is good. The mattress was good. The tv was good. The dead bolt lock did not work. There is not enough parking in front. The carpet is very stained, felt wet and smelled. The view IS THE BEST!!!! The price was $84.?? ONLY room or two available...too much for what I had to deal with. I'm thankful I made it home alive to my clean house. They need to clean up and then do it again. The lady Carol/Carolyn at the front desk was very nice. Thank you.

We really liked our room, as did our "Bassett Hound" we loved it to find a really great spot that we could stay and our dog also. Service was wonderful and the room was very clean. Suggestion: please invest in some new irons!!!!! They do not cost that much ! Carol, from Illinois

I love this little motel. It is located right on the lake and about 5 minutes in either direction for food and drink. We will stay here everytime!
