There was still food from previous occupants left behind the fridgerator and tv, dead bugs were on the carpet, the bathroom florr was filthy and mold was in the shower. The staff would not do anything for us. they said the room would be completely cleaned the next day, but nothing was different except now the cleaners had smoked in the room and left the smoke smell in the bathroom with the door left closed. The price is good but if you want a decent place to stay go soemwhere else. The health department needs to come to check this place out not you.

The hotel is easy to find and less than 20 minutes from downtown, thus providing substantial savings to the price of hotels in downtown. The room was quiet. No noisy or rowdy neighbors to disturb rest. In dealings with the staff, they were friendly and helpful. There was a slight staleness in the main area of the room, and I also noticed an odor coming from the carpet, which was unpleasant, although the room looked freshly cleaned and vacuumed. If they replaced the carpet, I bet that would get rid of the slight dank odor. This hotel fell into my level of reasonable expectation for the price paid and even exceeded my expectation in service, so overall I still believe it is a good value for the location and amenities. They just need to do something about that carpet. I was a little disappointed that there was no "Do Not Disturb" sign to put on the door, as I prefer not to have maid service in until the second day of my stay, but they did a great job, made the beds, replenished towels and toiletries, etc.
