Americas Best Inns-Attalla/Gadsden AL, Attalla

When we booked this hotel it said 5 star well its NOT. We asked for non-smoking rooms and we got smoking rooms we had a small dog so i guess they figuered to give us bad rooms. The walls in the rooms were stained. The entrance is nice but decieving because the rooms are nothing like the ientrance ofcourse im sure they put us in the worst rooms. The hallway stairs had bugs and spiderwebs. We only had two towels in our room and we asked for more they said the cleaning lady has not come in yet. We asked three times before we received them. Thankfully we only had to stay one night..!!!

It was a very nice trip overall, going from florida to california, saw the sign on the highway and had to take a look. i have always had a habit of looking at the rooms before i stay somewhere - econo lodge had the nicest rooms from all the other hotels near by, with a decent price. the staff worked with you, the AC had a little problem at first, but they sent the maintenence man within five minutes, who seemed to fix the problem in no time. the breakfast was great!

This place was horrible. The fire marshall kept on coming there. That made you feel terrified that the place was going to burn down. Kept on smelling propane the whole time there. Everyday had to report that we did not have any hot water to take a shower. Breakfast was horrible, same thing everymore we stayed there. There was alot of action there not for sure want all was going on there. Never had towels in our room.

this was a very nice place to stay - iam glad that i listened to my husband. it was at a very convinent place - with all the resturants near by. we had a great time at the bar and in the pool. we asked for towels at 2 in the morning, and the lady brought them right up to our room - the service was EXCELENT!!! we had a great stay and would come back whenever possible.
