Grudging Hostess
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/16/08
The Inn was not what we expected. The decor of our room was outdated. The room was way overheated, and the heating system was terribly noisy (we could not control the temperature in our room). The bed could not have been any harder- we were literally sore by morning. The hostess was not particularly welcoming. We had the sense that she would have preferred we not be there. It is not a setting for a romantic get away.

Beautiful! Quaint! Friendly! Come to Martin Hill Inn!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/06/07
What a wonderful weekend getaway. Margots baked bananas trumps even the most decadent of pop tarts! We stayed in the master bedroom and had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was lovely and Margot was very helpful with day trip suggestions and directions. We will be returning in the spring!

Great Inn
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/08/04
We stayed here this past weekend and were warmly welcomed. Excellent food and company. Highly recommend you try a visit to Portsmouth. Great dining in town which is a walk away.
