Pacific Inn Hotel and Suites, San Diego

we had large roaches in our room... they were in the bathroom... even in our bed!!!

We loved staying at Pacific Inn Hotel & Suites, everyone treated us with the utmost respect. They went the extra mile to pick us up at the airport, which we greatly appreciated. Our room was clean, comfortable and cozy. We totally enjoyed the jacuzzi after all our sightseeing. We were also grateful that Pacific Inn was in walking distance to so many wonderful sights. We will definitely stay at Pacific Inn Hotel and Suites again and would recommend others to stay as well. ltlndnprincess

What we liked the most was that After staying the night, I dropped the Family off at the pier 1 1/2 blocks away and drove back to hotel and left Our Car for a small daily fee. Or they aranged for Shuttle. Most Helpful!! The Pier was 20.00 a Day! Waffles were Tasty Too! Staff was very friendly and helpful. We will Recomend to Our Friends and Family This Place!

I recently went to San Diego for my spring break, and didn't make any hotel reservations ahead of time. My boyfriend and I looked around once we got there for the cheapest place downtown, with good quality, and we came across this hotel as the best fit. It was around $75 total on a Friday night walking distance from the harbor, which is the first place we went the morning we checked out. This hotel had good service, breakfast, and was a very nice room for the price and date. It would be even better with a fridge and microwave! Highly recommended

This hotel is within walkin distance of Sea Port VIllage and other cool attractions. The employees are very nice and helpful. They gave us recommendations for good resturants around that area and fun activities. I really enjoyed staying here and will be back someday!!! My only issue was the train whistle every now and then but it was not really a burden we still slept like babies.

We stayed here on our way to mexico on a cruise. Clean, small, good service, parking for cruisers, close to San Diego cruise ship terminals, cheap, good breakfast, absolutley Perfect stay.

The stay at this charming hotel was fabulous! The service we received was amazing and so one on one. The hot tub was relaxing and romantic and I simply cannot wait to come back to San Diego so that I can stay there again. The staff members were amazingly helpful, breakfast was prompt and wonderful, I have no complaints what so ever I and my significant other had a wonderful stay and we look forward to coming back.

We booked here through a travel agent. Our family was going on a cruise and we needed a motel relatively close to the dock that would also hold our vehicle while we were gone. The staff was very helpful, our vehicle (which had been moved to a secure location while we were gone, was back at the motel upon our return from the cruise, and everything went very smoothly. The water at the motel did not taste very good but bottled water was provided without additional charge so no problems there.

I saw an ad in a travel guide for the Pacific Inn, San Diego, which showed a reasonable rate. The ad stated the rooms where "brand new." I booked two rooms for a family weekend get-a-way. The rates where much higher than the price listed on the ad because we stayed during a holiday weekend. I booked the rooms anyway because I was under the impression that the rooms were brand new and the hotel was in a nice location. When we got our rooms, WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!! The rooms smelled of mold, the carpet was dirty, the bed felt like a cardboard box, the soap was so brittle it broke when I tore off the packaging, the shampoo was unsealed as if they refill them, and when we went to the ice machine the ice was dirty. I even had to ask for air freshener to try to clear away the smell, which didn't work. The ad was very deceiving in saying that the rooms were brand new. These rooms are gross and smelly, I would rather stay in my car than stay at this hotel. Pay the extra price and stay at an established hotel. This place is a dump.

We had a very pleasant stay! We stayed for three days at the pacific in in July. Shari was very helpful by finding us a room when we walked in. The price was very resonable. The room was very clean. The staff helped us with anything we needed which was great. The hotel was a short walk from the water and great restaurants were right near by. We had a lot of fun staying here! The complimentary breakfast was delicious. The rooms were just remodeled and the pool freshly painted. This experience was terrific and we will definately be back!
