Bunch of Thief
By devil dog, 01/17/09
Well i when on line and tried to book a room for a homecoming in Camp Pendleton, and well things changed at the last minute were we couldnt arrive on time so they charge my accounts as if i was there, after i contact both parties the manager of days inn never contact me after numerous tries travelocity called me and pretty much told me i was out of luck and i got 96 dollars charged to my account. they shoudn't lie to people i did the proper things to cancel my room like travelocity says to do but you see what happens. good luck to all and hope you dont ever have to go thru this. oyeah the word is out to the marines in Camp Pendleton about this. Semper Marines.

Great place to relax
By Cathy, 09/04/07
This is my favorite place to stay while at the beach. It is affordable, well maintained, and most of all within walking distance to the beach and harbor. Joe's Crabshack is an added bonus, and I never fail to relax and forget the stress of life while here. For five years running this place has been a sanctuary..

HIghly recommend July 2007
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/12/07
My husband and I stayed her in July 2007. It is a great simple hotel - has a small pool but within walking distance to the beach, harbor where the shops and restaruants are located. Also great if you are visting frinds/family at Camp Pendletone - only 5 minutes away from the main gate.I-5 is right by the hotel in order to take day trips to San Diego, etc. If you are looking for a low key, clean place to stay this is great - and we usually stay in upper class hotels. We were very relaxed and the beds were actaully comfy! We would come back again. - OHIO

Terrible..terrible
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/02/07
This place appeared to be half ok on arrival athough overpriced, decent clean rooms, but 3am in the morning drunken (im guessing longterm residents) fighting in the car park directly outside all the rooms talking at top note swearing and menacing with music going full boar from the upstairs rooms, this went on for just over two hours until 5am with nobody game to go outside to intervene, a horrible frightening experience.

GOOD VALUE
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/12/07
The hotel was close to Camp Pendleton, which made it perfect in visiting my son. I didn't think the breakfast was good and was missing some of the advertised items. Another inconvenience is that they would not provide us with a roll away bed- which we needed. The bathroom arangement doesn't allow much privacy or noise barrier if someone is getting ready and another is still sleeping. It was a clean hotel , however and the staff were couteous. I might stay there again.
