Quality Inn Eureka, Eureka

We booked this place not knowing what to expect. The staff was very generous and had suggestions for tourist activities. The room was clean other than the bathroom smelling like weed (but what do you expect in Eureka). We had two teenagers and they had a blast in the pool and jacuzzi. Location is close to everything, you will see plenty of the city from this location. From the balcony, Eureka's finest walked by daily (transients galore). Other than this, for a one night stay, couldn't complain.

I'd like to start by saying the staff is VERY friendly. They will bend over backwards to assisit patrons at this hotel. The rooms were clean and housekeeping came everyday, like clockwork, changed the sheets, cleaned the room, replaced towels ect. Unfortunatly they do not have a breakfast like they calim on their websites, but they do offer 3 per person cupons to a dinner across the street. The last night there, a rock band stayed at the hotel and was very noisy, keep in mind that is not the hotels fault. The location is wonderful, and minutes away from old town, the Carter Mansion and the Bay. It's a great place to stay with a family, and the rooms are a nice size. The pool is also shut off, and closed down but they do offer a sauna and hot tub.

We asked for a non smoking room. It smelled like smoke someone had put a shower cap over the smoke detecter so any one can figure that out. When we complain they ack like they could care in the least, did not offer to make it right. The tolet ran all night there was mold in the shower. People left there dogs in veh. right below us they howled all night. I know the Hotel has no control over that but they should have spoken to the owner of the Dogs.

The super friendly staff let us check in at just about noon. The room was very, very clean and large. The jacuzzi was also extraordinarily clean. Walking distance to Old Town shops and attractions as well as to the bay. We would definately stay here again.
