Thunderbird Motel, Missoula

We stayed for a week to spend Christmas with family. The room was clean and wonderful having a microwave and refrig in room. The staff was great and room was cleaned on Christmas day - even though we said it didn't need it. Close to the University and walking trails. Nice have a store and coffee shop close by. It isn't the fanciest in town - but the price was great. Would highly recommend to familes - pool is great.

Cheesy lights made for a fun experience. They kept the pool open late for us. All together a great experience. Definitely a return option.

Location perfect for my visit -- Missoula a great visit on foot -- found the Thunderbird to be a great, comfy place. Not fancy, but hometown feeling, staff very helpful and responsive. And gotta love that blue neon!!!

Location is out of the way. The price and the pool are great. We offten stay there with the kids for a mini vacation. The kids love the indoor pool. Having Albertsons next door is a big plus.

So convenient to campus. Don't need a car. Can walk to resteraunts, grocery store, hiking, all campus activities, river walk, down town. Has pool and spa. Very friendly.

After driving all day from Rochester, MN, I needed a place cheap to fall down. On this score the T-Bird worked quite well. The manager was very accommodating in that he dropped the rate. And so he should have. The place is definitely sub-standard for anything other than a quick crash.

Why do I have faith again? Because now I know that there are truely hotels out there that can make a person happy and complete again. Of course depression engulfed my sad frame when I finally ran out of money and had to check out. Currently I am in a depression clinic...I can tell you right now what would make me happy again. Oh to see the sweet sweet walls and floor of my favorite hotel just once more. To sniff the slightly stale cigarette smell that lingers ever so subtely in my room. Woe is me! I love you Thunderbird....you alone are my firm rock in times of trouble. I know my purpose in life is to serve you oh great Thunderbird. Oh to spend the rest of my days and nights in the paradise of this world known only as the the great, no, the magnificent and magical....THUNDERBIRD HOTEL! Oh how you soothe the pangs of my heart oh great Thunderbird!
