Decent for the price, friendly staff!
The Cimarron motel is not a decent little hotel located near Kitsap mall in Silverdale, Washington. There is even a Safeway shopping center behind it, so pretty much everything you need is within walking distance.
Service (8/10) - The front desk staff was genuinely friendly and accomodating. My check in and check out was quick and painless due mainly in part to the front desk staff having all their paperwork prepared ahead of time. The in-room guest services books were satisfactory, and a full listing of local restaurants was nice to have. This motel did not have an elevator, though, which could be a hindrance to some people with a lot of heavy luggage.
Cleanliness (6/10) - One of the only downsides to the Cimarron hotel was the overpowering perfume-style smell in some of the hallways and the room I was in could use a better vacuuming job. The bathroom was clean, and the linen and blankets were fresh, however. Also, I had a stove top in my room, and a big cloud of dust blew out of the fan when I turned it on to cook something.
Location (8/10) - Although Silverdale is definitely not an exciting place by any stretch of the imagination, the Cimarron is in one of the best locations it can be. It's near the Kitsap mall, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance.
Value (8/10) - I expect a good hotel for $89.00 per night, and for the most part the Cimarron Motel delivers. The amenities are acceptable, and the fridge/stove top units are nice. The Internet comes in both DSL (but when I was there it was ADSL speed, which is better than advertised) and wireless options which was handy. Vending machines on each floor were a nice added touch. Whomever designed this motel had the customer in mind when they did so.
All-in-all the Cimarron motel is a solid value for the price, and I'd stay there again.
