The Monticello is a good place to sit and have a nice glass of wine, there isn't a lot of choices in Longview for this. Other than that ... the food is overpriced and employees are SCAREY! I went to a bqt there and the person who was cutting the meat had long hair and didn't look as though he had had a shower in a VERY long time. I skipped that, but then began to wonder what other folks they have in the kitchen making the other food. Don't recommend eating there, prices are high and food comes right out of a box.
As far as their rooms ... if you want to stay in the Motel off the side of the main building then be aware your not staying in the main "historical" hotel. Rooms are not that great and older.
