WHAT A JOKE!

Don't be fooled by the facade. Paying 85.00 for a room in a "MOTEL", making you think you were staying in a historic "HOTEL" was basically a bait and switch tactic. They show you the historic picture but don't let you know until you pay (no refunds I might add), accept the brass key, and send you out the side door that you are actually staying in a cheap, dirty, and sleezy motel flat. You leave the historic hotel through a side door, enter a dirty, noisy parking lot and face a row of motel rooms. You enter a dark, outdated smelly room with dirty carpets, dark paneled walls, broken down press board furniture, ragged draperies, moldy caulking in tub, saggy (very saggy) bed. People and noisy cars come and go throughout the night (we finally got to sleep about 4am). Don't know what the 3 luxury suites in the historic hotel are all about but again, don't be fooled by the picture on the website. You will end up in the "Bates Motel" and you don't want to go there, ever! This was a budget room at a luxury price. Definitely note a 3 star motel. The nice person at the counter doesn't make up for anything. One nice thing-the bed was clean.
