Valu Inn, Albany

Room does have a refrigerator however it did NOT work!!! NO microwave in room as promised! When the comforter was pulled back from the pillows there was hair all over all the pillows. Only 2 small towels in the bathroom. Upon opening a drawer in the room there was an empty box of condoms!! Over all this experience was NOT a good one. I booked this on Priceline - my plans changed & I went from a room with 2 queen beds to 1 king bed called to cancel the 1st reservation & was told to go to some website to cancel - there was a lack of ENGLISH communication & so I went to priceline to find something to cancel the reservation but couldn't find anything so I called the hotel back & was told by the front desk not to worry they had cancelled the first reservation. Upon getting home from my weekend I checked my email & found an email from priceline that I was a "No Show" for a reservation & that they are going to charge me the full price for the cancelled reservation. Needless to say the whole experience at this hotel was NOT pleasant!!!...

When upon arriving here by myself for a business trip I was very pleased with what I saw. When going into the front office I was welcomed with some very nice managers that gave me a very affordable price. When in the room, I was stunned it was clean no spots or trash on the ground, the bathroom was cleaned very well, and the bed was very comfortable. This motel shows the works of a great Hotel, I can not wait to stay here again.

Arrived at 5 am, was assigned a room, went in and walked back out again. The room was filthy, dried body fluids on the bed and floor, the bed was broken and trash all over. The bathroom floor was unspeakable. Went to the lobby office, attendant was not there, when she finally arrived, told her what was in the room, she went and looked and came back and accused me of trashing the place. When I insisted on getting a refund to get out of there, accused me of being in the room long enough to trash the place. Upon my insistance and disgust, I only recieved 1/2 refund of the price I paid. I would not recommend this motel to anyone, find another place or keep driving! Your health would be at risk otherwise.

ACtually we travel to here alot and have tried every motel in area and i will tell you they went out of their way to make ourstay great and room was just as nice and clean as the others i have paid 3 x as much for.I would definately recommend it
