Terrible !
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/02/09
First of all when we pulled into the Hotel there was no cars in the parking lot. We checked in and the lady at the front desk didn't even speak english, but we checked in with what I could understand what she was attempting to say. We went to our room, the door handle was broken and once inside the room it was so dirty. The toilet didn't flush, it took about three flushes to finally get everything down. The shower discharge faucet was about three inches from the wall and the water sprayed back into the open wall and down the back of the wall. There was two TV's in the room neither worked, no cable. The pool was in the middle of the parking lot. The bed sheets and blankets smelled like Body Odor and had lots of mysterious stains on them ! Then once getting unloaded and in our room, there was a knock on the door and a lady holding a refrigrator and she brought it into our room and plugged it in. I opened the door of the frig and it smelled like old fish. The place was horrible. So we went back down to the front desk and again tried to speak to the lady, who again spoke no english. They charged us for one night, when we stay at that cess pool for about an hour. I contacted the 800 number and they said they couldnt refund my money due to the hotel being owned by private owners, but the hotel management was suppose to contact me within ten days, you got it still no call. The neighborhood was horrible, was like I was staying in Mexico in some slum. Went down the street and got a hotel room for 59 bucks a night at America's Value Inn, which was 10x's closer to mill and ASU, and much cleaner and had two pools. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, stay away ! much better places to stay closer to ASU and Mill.

Great Deal - Nice people
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/06/08
This was a good value and we had two rooms for over a month. The management was very friendly and quick to respond to any need. The rooms were clean and best of all for Arizona in the summer, the a/c would get really cold when needed. Free wireless internet with the password! Less than two miles from an excellent shopping area with great restaurants. I felt safe so the area must have improved a lot since the 2004 reviews on this site were written. Small but clean pool - great for a dip after a long hot day. We used the free fridge in our room for snacks and restaurant leftovers. Loved the owner's sweet dog. Overall, an ideal hotel for our needs - would recommend highly.

FALSE ADVERTISING
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/03/08
The hotel advertised for $40.00 per night online and when we got there they wouldn't give us the advertised price. They charged us $60.00 per night. One room, one bed, one person, for $60.00 per night!

Good place if you are just looking for a place to sleep
By Jayson, 03/15/06
I liked that the room was clean and they offered free wireless internet access. The staff was friendly. What I didn't like was that it was kind of in tne middle of nowhere, wasn't as close to Mill Street as I thought and the surrounding neighborhood was so so. However, I did feel safe. If you want to get something to eat you definitely would have to drive. Nothing really close enough to walk. I would recommend this place if you are just looking for a place to sleep and save some money.

the motel of your nightmares
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/30/04
Absolutely horrible! There were actually prostitutes walking the streets and homeless people on bus benches. The pool is tiny and right by this awful street. The room is not clean, and is very tattered. No chains on the room doors - and you'd want one here!

Rough Neighborhood
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/26/04
Good service, but the neighborhood is very poor. Several homeless people across the street would sure like to get a few dollars from the hotel tennants
