Pioneer Hotel And Gambling Hall, Laughlin

This was our first time to Laughlin and did not know where to stay. We choose the Pioneer. Surprised our son for his birthday with the help of our daughter-in-law. We live in Oregon, he lives in L.A. The staff at the Pioneer were wonderful! They were very helpful when we wanted to decorate his room prior to his arrival. The personal at the Pioneer were friendly, the rooms were clean, the slots were loose, the food was good and the service we received was great. Was not crazy about the swimming pool, that would be our only complaint. We had the best time there!! Plan to go back as soon as we can. Loved the Pioneer!!!

NOTHING TO DISLIKE ABOUT THE PIONEER,DOGGIE ROOMS ARE NICE ,SHORT WALK TO RIVER ,TONS OF FUN GAMBLING .STAFF IS EXCELENT!!!!!!!! WILL RETURN AGAIN & AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there is nothing to like about this place rude employees the only person we met that had a smile on his face was the bartender at sassy sues river bar.i know they are an old west themed casino but do they really need to have rooms that look like they have not been changed sine the 1880's and that includes the sheets on the bed.there fine dinning at grannys was. terrible i have had better prime rib at dennys.there host was a sloppy fat young man who had to be the rudest of all there employees not to mention lazy.all in all even if the rooms was free we will never stay or recommend the pioneer.you can get a nice clean room at the edgewater or colorado belle for quit a bit less money or ever the river palms.

what happen to the buffet what happen to live keno what happen to my points now its all 1 no comp rooms just cash for everything or points other casinos offer comp food and rooms and cash.

i like this place because i like and i need it will it help me to get some from it

Rooms and casino really need an update. I know they are trying to look frontier but really they did.

The rooms are very affordable and I like how it is a motel type place where you can park in front of your room and leave most of your stuff in your car. Also the dollar slots are very loose. I just kept putting in $40 and getting back $100 or $150. The staff are very friendly and attentive. My only complaint is the restaurant food menu is limited (prime rib, steak, all fish and chicken is fried). Also, they dont have ticket or cash redemption machines and you have to go to the cashier window.Their prime rib is probably the best I ever had anywhere. Cocktails come very fast and steadily from the waitresses. I cant wait to get back there and try to at least 3 or 4 times a year.

Started going 20 years ago with mom & dad and i still go every year. mom passed away but still take dad everyone is friendly and the rooms are nice, the food is great.

i really enjoyed the poker machines because they still have the coins comming out and you can put them in too.The staff was extremely helpful and the slot attendants were both knowledgable and friendly! The food is great and rather inexpensive.The rooms are just ok and kind of old.A remodeling is a must! Over the other casinos on the river the Pioneer is the best for streching your gambling dollar!

had lots of fun not a big winner but did get to play for a bit with a small amount of money. BUT LOOK OUT AT HARRAHS THEY TOOK MY 27000COMP PONITS BECAUSE I WAS THREE DAY PAST SOME TIME LIMIT. I WOULD THINK IF THEY WERE GOING TO TAKE YOUR COMP POINTS THEY WOULD AT LEAST SEND A LETTER TO YOU. SO AFTER 15 ODD YEARS OF HELPING PAY THEIR ELECTRIC BILL IM DONE WILL NEVER GO BACK. THE PEOPLE AT THE REWARDS CLUB STINK, AND THE FOOD IS JUST PASSABLE.
