Vimbo's Motel, Wheatland

This has to be the most disgusting hotel I've ever seen. We had traveled all day and were really tired and figured we could handle one night there. After moving all our stuff in the dirty, smoke stained 'non smoking' room, we went into the bathroom. Nature requred that we use it - stained and grubby as it was, but when we saw the ant infestation, we asked for and were given, a refund, and left. Everything about this place screams 'go away'! Are there any less stars than one?

The rooms had ancient, mismatched and rickety furniture. It looked like something you would buy in a thrift shop. The carpet was full of cigarette holes and their were cigarette burns on the furniture as well. The A/C was loud which turned out to be a good thing since there is a bar in the parking lot. The bathroom had stained fixtures and ceiling. The towels were rough, worn, and stained as well. The place reminded me of one of those hotels you see on TV where people rent the room by the hour. We would have left and asked for a refund but it was 1 in the morning and we had been unable to find a hotel in Cheyenne or anywhere else in Wheatland. It was the last resort. I recommend that if you are traveling in the summer in Wyoming, book ahead because there are few hotels and alot of summer workers leading to a shortage of rooms.

Cheap rate but sparse room and could not adjust AC. Not enough parking for large number of rooms. For a nights sleep it's OK but I wouldn't recommend it for anything more. Restaurant was great!

My truck had broke down and the hotel actually helped me get my luggage to the location and gave me good advice on who to call for getting help. They didn't charge me extra for staying a little longer. The only bad thing was that there wasn't a alarm clock in the room.
