Holiday Inn Select Appleton, Appleton

my wife and I stayed here for a weekend getaway,and chose holiday inn on reputation ,but we were disapointed by the averageness of the whole the whole experience,for the money the lack of a complimentry breakfast of any sort was disapointment ,we could stayed anywhere else for less,with more amenitties,aparrently reputation doesn't mean anything any more.I will definately look elsewhere on my next stay in town.

All the kids running around unsupervised was the worst. It ruined my time in the pool cause curfew was midnight, what?? Any adults that were in the pool area were drinking beer, in coolers! I find that in these days and time maybe thats not such a wise choice to let other peoples kids see ppl drinking in the pool area as they watch. The police was even called about the disorderly drunks. I think you should re think that choice letting ppl drink in the pool area. Also the late curfew, 10pm would be great for a hotel this size, theres too many people waiting for them to get to their rooms so we can enjoy ourselves in peace. I wont come back here. The gentleman (older reddish blonde hair) said he's maintenance on occasion, he was driving the elevators he was very friendly and I enjoyed my ride. The maids were not friendly at all. I addressed them on floor 7 on March 27th with a hello and they didnt even speak back or look at me. I realize the general public can be usually a bother but if your spoken to you should always speak back. I also work in fast food industry and I realize the ignorance of some people but it dont hurt to be friendly. George at the desk was nice and helpful. The beds were kinda hard and very small for this size hotel. When I was in the dining room for breakfast I noticed they had donuts and cakes on a table by the seats and kids were putting their hands in them and I didnt enjoy watching. The pool is cold and small. The pool was cold and small. The hot tub was great. The pool area was filthy because of all the kids and no supervision. The bathrooms in the pool area were dirty. Not enough handycap parking in front of the doors. Now mind you my experience wasnt all bad cause the Tv's are great. I like that you can hook up your video games. The air in the room was good. I was very appreciative of the non smoking rooms and I didnt have to be around anyone smoking at the doors. For the price I paid 208.00 for 2 nights I would have liked more poolside time.

Hotels? You Can Either Love Them Or Hate Them. Holiday Inn Appleton, Wisconsin Is By Far The Best Lodging Experience I Ever Had. My Money Went Further. The Food Was AAA. Location, Service And Their Attention To Detail Also Made The Weekend I Spent In Appleton Unforgetable.
