Comfort Inn Zanesville, Zanesville

We have stayed here a few times however this time was not so good. There was a birthday party going on when we arrived in the pool area, however some people left it a mess in there. When we went back to swim the next morning no one had even came in to clean the pool area. It was very dirty. The pile of dirty towels were still piled up from the night before, there was dirty pizza boxes and food everywhere, there was dirty cups all by the hot tub! It was disgusting!!! And yes the place smelled like stale cigarettes. I was very disapointing. They really need to get a better staff who actually cleans up! I will never return!!

lots of extras, clean, accomodating people and the best exercise room in Zaneville [not saying much, but still....] Good breakfast, coffee , tea, apples and oranges all day

I was in Jacuzzi room, which was spacious and luxurious. It was in quite area of the hotel. I did not have breakfast. Close to Interstate, and restaurants, one mile from the old Ohio state Capitol and Y bridge. Yes they were some noisy kids in the pool, but I was not bothered.

There were many things I didn't like about this hotel. When you first walk in it smells like stale cigarrette smoke. I had a non-smoking room but even that had enough stale smoke smell to saturate my clothing. Over the weekend the hotel seems to turn into the local birthday party headquarters in which they rent out rooms and have pool parties. Young kids and teens would run through the halls while shouting, play with the elevator, bounce balls and do gymnastics in the hallway until late in the night. It got so bad that I know of one tenant that had complained to the front desk so much that they finally decided to move her to a different room. The continental breakfast had few items to choose from and from what they did have, it didn't taste so good. I believe that my experience at this hotel was the worst chain hotel that I have stayed at. If I have business in Zanesville again, I will try to avoid this hotel.

This will be our third time back to Zanesville, it is very convient to the things we are here for. Also convient to shopping and meals. Everyone at the Motel has been very helpful.
