Husbands stays twice a year for Rutherford B. Hayes dinners/conferences etc.
We have no problems with your lodge. My husband will be returning; however, the website went horribly wrong. Once the online reservation was I believe completed, a chat window with a rep came up and asked if we wanted to get a $30.00 rebate on this reservation (we assumed it was a travelodge benefit because she knew our credit card information). I asked for more information and said we would try the 30 day trial basis. When it came to the last window where you could enter or cancel, there was absolutely no time given to do either. I decided at that point to cancel, but the window turned over so fast that I couldn't access anything.
Yesterday we received a Travelers Insurance rebate and it became very obvious that this was not travelodge. I searched the internet for this company and they make very difficult to find them. There are a very large amount of consumer complaints against this company taking money from credit cards when requests weren't made as well as people taking advantage of the trials. There were also many statements indicating that even after cancellation, monies were still being pulled from their credit cards. Can you advise as to who this company is and are you aware of any numbers, etc. that can help us get our information removed from them.
Will never do online reservations again so the time, we will contact the hotel by phone.
Please confirm if travelodge is connected with Travelers Advantage, Affinion or Trilogiant companies, because do not want anything to do with them or their affiliates.
Thank you, Nancee Nickerson
