Days Inn Monticello MN, Monticello

Wow, what a dump! Everything from staff to furniture was bad! I even complained to Customer Care in Aberdeen, SD - and they did absolutely nothing. I told them that my family will NEVER stay in another Days Inn again - ever!

did not like staff they were very rudel, filthy room, fleas in carpet, could not get staff to answer phone had urgent call come in during my stay and took me 30 minutes to get through, these people are not suitable to deal with public - EXTREMELY RUDE - got bites all over while there from fleas - room disgusting. WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN - ADVISE ANYONE TO CHECK THIS DAYS INN PRIOR TO MAKING ANY RESERVATION - ROOM WAS $238 GAVE PERSON $250 SHE REFUSED TO GIVE CORRECT CHANGE SAID I ONLY GAVE HER $240 - SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THEN BEFORE I GOT TO ROOM WHAT KIND OF PLACE IT WAS. THE OWNER OF THIS CHAIN HONESTLY NEEDS TO DO A SURPRISE VISIT UNREAL, DISGUSTING CAN'T EVEN EXPLAIN HOW BAD.

As an avid traveler, I have stayed in some dumps in my day - but this one takes the cake! The service was awful, argumentative staff, room smelled of a combination of urine and mold, vent cover had fallen off and large hole with exposed wiring, dirty sheets, yellow tub, and running tolit - it was the worst. When I complained the next morning, as I had a late check in the night before and got no help from the front desk regarding shape of room, took it up with the so called manager and got the run around - called corporate the next day, and only then got an apology - no refun or even partial refund, but an apology. There are quite a few nicer hotels, right next to this hotel, do what ever you can to avoid this hotel at all costs!

The front dest was very unfriendly,the rooms were terrible.They stated that there were coffee pots, ironing boards,irons and hairdryers in the rooms not one of these items were found. The mattress and box springs were gross, I don't even want to begin to think of what was spilled on them. One of the locks on our room was broken and the air wasn't working up to par. TV was really bad. Location was the only good point of this motel. Don't stay here is my advice, your car would be better to stay.

DIRTY rooms,NO ONE can communicate with the English language well,air conditioner did not work.No coffee pots.Every time you wanted something you had to find them. I will think twice before I take my children to this striper joint again. Are all Days Inn's like this one ??

The rooms were dirty, The lock on the door was broken we had to push tables in front of the door to stay half way secure,no coffee pots in the room, the air conditiong did not workand it was 105 that day,took out the filter and it was so dirty we could not even blow through it.We had no towels or wash cloths in the room
