Pigeon Forge Inn and Suites, Pigeon Forge

First my husband and I decided to come to this hotel because we live in Gatlinburg and work 2 Jobs that sometimes can become very stressful and we were very tired already of several weeks working without rest... and the best moment to do this get away was now and because it was my husband birthday..I called Friday morning to several hotels but I was having no luck with available rooms.. I called Pigeon Forge Inn and the guy who answered the phone was (very polite) he told me they had 1 suite room smoking (we are smokers) with Jacuzzi (baby’s pool) available for the weekend...we arrived at the hotel at 10:30 pm and the first thing we saw was maybe 20 teenagers in the lobby with laptops .... No shoes and very loud....we found out the next morning that a church group was staying for a couple of months and working at Dollywood. (so now we found out that we are in a dorm) we went to our room ... it was very nice, clean and for being smoking not smelling at all.... the problems started : no internet , air condition not working.... and a wasp flying around .My husband said to me we already paid and we are both tired so we went to sleep. The next morning we went down for the free breakfast. (served from 6 to 10) and it was just 8:30 no table to sit down at all these teenagers with laptops again some of them with no shoes and all the tables had been taken by them doing something other than what they should have been doing in this area "having Breakfast"...and being courteous to the other guests and leaving this area for seating for others.. After all this... my husband decided give them a second chance and because we didn't want to go back to gatlinburg and the traffic and the all part of the stress ...we paid another night... (What a mistake) .... 11:30 am they call me to my room with this words "Mrs..?? remember that the check out is at 11 am" I answer him Back Sr. Remember that we paid for an extra night already this morning.... he said "I'm so sorry Mrs..? have a good day"....My husband decided to go to sleep and rest before going to the pool.... and few minutes after we start sleeping the maid knocked on our door several times (with a sign of DO NOT DISTURB) my husband wakes up go to the door and she said to us Sr.. remember that the check out is at 11 and its 1 in the afternoon already.... this was to much... We went to the lobby and told the guy front desk...the all situation and how bad we were filling in the hotel already.... and his only answer was ....."IM SORRY IM BY MY SELF TODAY AND IS TO MUCH TO HANDLE’’ “WE PUT IN THE NEWS PAPER THAT WE'RE HAVING STUDENTS IN THE HOTEL" so if you don't read the newspaper you will never now about it... NEXT TIME ... I PREFER TO GO TO THE HOTEL WITHOUT RESERVATION AND ASK FOR A TOUR FIRST TO SEE IF I WILL OR WILL NOT STAY THERE...

Do not stay at this hotel, they have bed bugs. When we first arrived we got a room, which we immediately checked for bedbugs, only to find evidence of them covering the box spring of the mattresses. We told the front desk staff, which were very apologetic. We got a second room that checked out better on the other side of the complex, but the second night we were woken by bedbugs crawling on a pillow. We had to cut our vacation short and leave at 3AM. The front desk informed us that this had not been their first incident of bedbugs. There were also ants crawling up the drain from the sink. The wifi internet worked for about an hour the first night, but after did not even register on my laptop.

We had a nice stay. The location was awesome,and the rooms were very clean. We really liked the front desk staff to. They really went the extra mile for us.The best part was the price for what it is.we will be back!

WE HAVE ALWAYS STAYED AT PIGEON FORGE INN AND SUITES WE GET OUR SAME ROOM EACH TIME ITS LIKE HOME AWAY FROM HOME THEY HAVE REALLY NICE ROOMS THAT HAVE BEEN ALL RENAVATED AND THE STAFF IS ALWAYS SO NICE AND KNOW US BY NAME SOME OF THE COMMENTS YOU READ IS UNREAL WE HAVE STAYED HERE SINCE 2008 AND HAVE NEVER HAD AN ISSUE AND WE VISIT AT LEAST FOUR TIMES A YEAR IF YOU PLAN TO GO TO PIGEON FORGE THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY (BUT YOU CANT HAVE MY ROOM)

I have to say that the rooms were decent. I can't complain about the cleanliness. I booked through hotels.com for my 2 night stay. We decided to stay an extra night and have been charged twice for it. I have called several times and they still say that they are not at fault. But somebody owes me $$ and they have yet to refund it to me over a month later. Instead of saying i am refunding it now they want to say it will be done on so and so date and it has never gotten done!!! I have proof they charged me twice and i still am getting the run around. I think this is dishonest on their part. What happened to the customer is always right!!!!!

When I booked this hotel I through that it was a new hotel not one that was old but with new onwers. We had two rooms and in one room there was food scrapes on the floor. You had to turn the tv on and off at the tv remote did not work.

Great location...Rooms was all brand new, beds were great and very clean. Staff was helpful and polite..Definately will visit again

These rooms have the best beds we have ever sleep on !!!! They have all new carpet and towels and sheets... we stayed here 1 year ago and this place was bad they have new owners and new managers and the staff is great... and the new furniture is BEAUTIFUL...we are going to make this our yearly hotel.

room was not a typical hojos,been better off sleeping in the street. pool was closed for season in august.only good thing was no smoke smell. had nothing stolen,fairly good locAtion, walking distance to most or near a trolly pick up.did have that going for it,, check else where before you go here.

nasty and dirty.not your typical howard johnson. pool was closed for season in august. wasnt swept behind furniture,least had a non smoking room a plus in the whole stay,
