I rented a room for a friend and reserved it with my card. My friend payed for the room in cash. They still charged my card. They have never refunded my credit. Stay away from this hotel.

Nice economy option for Memphis visitors. Convenient location, friendly staff, clean and quiet. Very good deal for the price. Would recommend, bearing in mind it ain't the Ritz.

We took a trip and knowing that Red Roof Inn was pet friendly, we made arrangements to stay at one in every city that we travelled through. Because we were taking our 2 big dogs with us, we wanted to be sure that we had reservations. We arrived only to be told we'd have to get 2 rooms, one for each dog. We are aware that guidelines say 1 dog, but in the past we just checked with each motel. I can't tell you how upset we were when reservations were made in advance with the knowledge of our 2 big dogs. We were booked for another night when we were returning home. After canceling we went to another motel nearby that didn't take dogs but were welcoming, and told us that since we were "seniors," they knew we would be responsible pet owners. We will never use this Red Roof Inn again. They should have told us ahead of time that they aren't flexible with the policy. We are always upfront about our 2 big dogs because one of the dogs is a Great Dane. I don't believe I would not have cleared this before booking my reservation.
