BEST WESTERN Ashbury Inn, La Grange

I went to this hotel with the mind to review it so I was careful about my observations. I think this hotel is great. I was really impressed with the cleanliness and hotel staff. We had a king size no smoking room and it was not just a room and bed. The room had a love seat, chair table, t.v./dresser, fridge, microwave and bed. It had storage for our bags, an ironing board and iron, and vanity stocked with toiletries and towels. The shower was a nice size too. We also liked that they have a public computer in the lobby. We looked up directions to our next destination. The pool was nice too. It was small but we were the only ones using it and my son loved playing in it. The only "bad" thing we had was a dirty toilet when we arrived but I called the front desk and someone came within 5 mins and cleaned it. The breakfast was good too. We had waffles and sausage gravy and biscuits. When I booked the room I asked if they had any discounts and they did!! So we got the room cheaper than advertised rates that I have seen on the net, so ask!!! We will stay here again when we visit KY.
