Golden Door Motel, Osage Beach

Can't say enough good things about the place. The owners were most accommodating and friendly. The room itself (especially the bathroom) was spotless. Yes, it's an older place. No, it doesn't have direct access to the lake. Yes, we were there in the off-season. No matter. I'd go back.

Was a very roomy and relaxing place to stay. Loved how the grounds were set up. We stayed in a room with a sliding door that lead to the game room and the pool with ease. Also had a nice park, and places to grill out. We will definitly go back and stay again. Staff was very friendly and courtious. We enjoyed our stay alot and want to thank the motel for a great vacation.

My family has stayed at the Golden Door for over 20 years. We always need multiple rooms and utilize all of their amenities to the fullest. All of our needs and requests are always met with full effort from Dave and Genice and the rest of the staff. The cleanliness is great and the the cleaning staff is always friendly, hard working and very thourough! This is hands down the best place to stay in Osage Beach and the price is unbelieveable! For our family it is truly like coming home year after year! We love it!

We have been staying there for years. It is always a good feeling to get there. Like "coming home" to the Lake. Janise and David are so nice. They work very hard to make everything pleasant. The grounds are beautiful! Plenty of really good restaurants close by, and walking distance to the mall. No kitchens, but BBQ pit and game room. Families gather there and enjoy the pool, which is always clean and refreshing, with tables w/umbrellas and plenty of lounge chairs. And right across the street is Andy's where you can get the most delicious turtle sundaes.

This place is alway clean. Since we don't leave home without our dog she is always welcome there, which is a great advantage.The staff is friendly and helpful if we have any questions about happenings at the lake. We'll always be return customers here. They always make us feel welcome

What else could you need (besides breakfast)? We felt safe there and enjoyed the courtyard view. The room was clean. The office people were very friendly and helpful. It would be a great place for people with children as they could play in the courtyard safely. The pool was off-season for us but would be great in-season. We're recommending it to others and are going back!

This place is like Home away from Home. Its centrally located which means my husband brings the fishing boat and launches it near by. My poodle and I go to the outlet mall which is very close. Anything we have needed from parking the boat to getting a VIP booklet for the mall we've gotten it. A few steps from any room and your at the very clean pool. Its very family oriented and My pup is welcome anytime. The rooms are very clean and close to so much. You want to get away and have no hassells this is the place. My daughter and I are headed to the "After Thanksgiving Midnight Madness Event" this weekend and where are we staying? Of Course the Golden Door. Its like home away from home. Thanks

The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the courtyard layout, and private "feel" of the pool area. It had plenty of lounge chairs and is partly shaded in the afternoon for the non-sunworshippers. It's not brand new but very clean, well maintained, and homey. We'll definitely be back! The owners are so friendly. Because of the location and the friendly staff, my family has gone to the Golden Door Hotel for years. They have a rec center located in a building and is really fun for families. The rooms are always clean.

Right in the middle of everything. It is a little dated, but everything was clean. It had everything you need. Employees were very nice. Surprisingly quiet for being on the main road.
