OWNER LIES, STEALS, THREATENS, & UNETHICAL

KEY POINTS
1. THEY LIEd to us when we were reserving the room.
-we arrived and saw the place was not as it was explained
+ front guy told us, "well it all depends on how you asked the question and how the guy worded his answer" (who says that to a customer)
2. HOTEL IS NOT NEW at all and looks old inside.
3. HOTEL HAD A CHEMICAL SMELL THAT MADE US AND OTHERS SICK all throughout the hotel on each floor (third floor was not as bad.
-Hotel made our eyes burn, throats burn and was causing my mom to have an asthma attack.
-Another customer was down at the front desk complaining at the same time about getting sick from the hotel.
4. FRONT DESK GUY TOLD MY MOTHER SHE WAS LYING AND COULD NOT SMELL THE CHEMICALS. (who tells a customer that?)
- She was getting sick from the chemical smell and we were just asking to move to a third floor room and would pay the difference.
5. FRONT DESK SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE AND RUDE AND NOT WILLING TO WORK SOMETHING OUT TO KEEP OUR BUSINESS.
-We tried to see if we could be moved to the third floor and pay the difference and they kept telling us we could not smell a chemical.
-We told them that we had to be moved or my mother would have to be taken to the hospital if she had to put up with that chemical smell and they responded. Well, there is nothing we can do.
6. OWNER LIED, THREATENED, STOLE, AND DID NOT CARE ABOUT HIS CUSTOMERS AND WAS VERY IMMATURE
- Owner lied about his name and would not give us his last name.
-We found he was the owner when the other lady complaining asked if she could get the information of the corporate office or the owner. The owner then replied, "you want to talk to the owner, well HELLO NICE TO MEET YOU! I AM THE OWNER! So, what what do you want now?"
-Owning a business your main job is to make sure your guests are comfortable and happy and he must not have learnt that in his life. He would not come up with something to help us out from getting sick. Instead he was angry that we were both down there complaining how his hotel was making us sick and then told us to pack our stuff and for both of us to leave. - He kicked out the lady, her husband, and her little children, along with us 60-80+ year olds.
+We asked why he was asking us to leave and he did not have a reason why.
-The owner then THREATENED A CUSTOMER telling her if she spoke negatively about him or his company he would ruin her life and make sure her life was hell. There were a couple of us there to hear him. He did this SCREAMING AT HER and even continued to scream at me
+We asked again why he was asking us to leave and again he did not have a reason and just told us to pack our stuff and leave.
+ We then decided to pack our bags and try and find another hotel at 11pm at night (a lot of hotels no vacancies). When we left we wanted to make sure he was not billing us and come to find out that he decided to bill us for 1 night stay when we were only in our room for an hour or two and was asked to leave and did not leave on our own because we didn't have anywhere to go. We then again asked why were being told to leave and they told us because I interrupted a front desk guy talking to a new customer. I then asked to see the video surveillance to see what they were talking about because i did not talk to the front guy until he acknowledged me & when he told me i had to wait because he needed to finish talking to the customer i stepped to the side and let him proceed. So, i then asked to talk to the owner again to see the surveillance & they informed us that the owner had to leave for a family emergency. that was convenient timing because he knows he was wrong
OVERALL: DO NOT GO HERE!! THEY DO NO RESPECT THE ELDERLY. THEY DO NOT RESPECT FAMILIES W/ CHILDREN. THEY LIE, MISLEAD, THREATEN, STEAL, & DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS
