Parkside Inn Bridgeview, Mackinaw City

The location was great. We left our car parked the whole week and didn't get into it until we left. Great location for a waterfront stroll

We were charged 100.00 for smoking outside the room. Stay away from this place owners are liers.

Warning: stay away from owner lady! When we were there, we spoke with several ‘guests’ who were treated quite rudely by her. One customer received a phone call confirming their bridge view room, but upon checking in, they were switched to a ground level inside room. When the gentleman wanted to check out the room before paying (upon check-in), the she told him that his reservation would be cancelled if he left the lobby. Another guest was followed into the laundry room and threatened to have the police called if the car wasn’t moved from a legal, unmarked parking spot….but there are no numbers on the spots. Another customer complaint to the owner lady that the mild tasted watered down (and it did taste disgusting!) Another person made the mistake of asking for a “Don’t disturb” sign and the owner treated them quite rudely, complaining about people stealing them….shall I go on. Cute, clean place… just stay away from owner lady! Oh. and the other person at the desk claims that they are not AAA rated, nor did they care! So...hmmm..whose telling the truth?

Location, location, location. We had a room overlooking the bridge that was great. Cleanest place we ever stayed at, with a big breakfast overlooking the Bridge. Amenities and friendly service and fair prices. What more could we ask for, we'll be back.

We have stayed in Mackinaw City several times over the years and stayed at several different motels. This was our least favorite. Their web site said they gave a AAA discount, however, when we called, they said they could not on the weekend. We reserved through the website for the discount. When we checked in they were not very friendly. Our room was right next to the stairway and we heard foot traffic all night long as well as the room above us. The rooms are not very soundproof and are pretty small. This was priced comparably to others that we have stayed at where we had much better experiences.
