Four Seasons Motel, Mt Vernon

The place is so ran down it's like visiting an old poor relative with ancient furniture! It was NOT a no smoking room! Bugs and the beds are as old as the hotel. it was awful and the price of &75.00$ a night is unrealistic. We went on Memorial day weekend and the pool was closed because they hadn't gotten around to it!

Six months in advanced talked to them about reserving suits and the conference room for our wedding guests. They said that would be no problem so we reserved a block of rooms. Seven weeks before wedding we go to confirm all reservations and are told even though we have reserved these rooms if some body comes in the week before and wants to stay in that room on our reserved date that we loose the room! Also the conference room is only available from 6am to 6pm and they do not want food or children in this room Well these were about 40 family members coming to a wedding, but you have to have a social hour before 6pm and can not have food or your children in this room...get real, she said she just did not want to mess with it! Fine we canceled ALL our reservations and went to the other motel in town. Much better service! By the way these relatives were bankers, professers, teachers ect...

When needing a motel to stay at for a death in the family, this motel was recommended. Many of my family was staying there. I booked our room thru Travelocity for a rate that I thought was entirely too high for a small motel in a small town but I didn't have much choice. The room I booked was a king room, but what I recieved was a single double bed. When we asked the management about they mix-up, we were informed that they were full and that we were lucky to get what we got. She was very rude. Everyone else in our party got an $8 a room rebate for berievement but since we didn't book thru the motel itself we were out of luck. I will never stay there again and do not recommend it to anyone.
