The Colonial Inn, Eureka Springs

This is a beautiful place to stay. The male manager is a piece of work. I felt intimidated, harrased and tired. :He watch my group of four the complete time we were there. He would not let one member of the group read the newspaper at 1130 pm, he disinfected the chairs and table we sit in including around the pool. He watched our every moved. I would see him watching and wave at him, he would wave back then l eave. I could not sleep, i felt uncomfortable. Blacks People Beware!

Having grown up with a father who was in the hotel business, I am extremely picky when it comes to accommodations. Colonial Mansion Inn, ranked at the top of the scale. I enjoyed my stay, and will definately stay there again next time I am in town. The Inn was extremely clean and totally quiet, even though it was Jass Fest Weekend. The owner was very helpful and polite. They even have a heated pool! Don't be afraid to stay here, Inns of this calibur are hard to find.

The hotel is OK for 42 dollars, but you better wake up early or the managment will be pist off. Check out is at 11am and you better do it. Brakfast from 7 to 10:30 and after that you better drop what you got in your hand because is over and you should live. The managment needs to know people are there for vacation, for rest and enjoy and not to follow their stupid rules.

Its a decent hotel. The owner Mike is extremely friendly and helpful. Ask for a AAA discount. very conveniently located on the trolley stop line and minutes away from Downtown.
