Family Brother Trip
By Jana, 9/24/09
WE LOVED this place!! My husband and three brothers go on a trip each year, with the wives. We went to Heber Springs (great trout fishing) and stayed here. HOW WONDERFUL IT WAS! Great rooms, wonderful beds, super breakfast, and excellent warm hospitility. The Dachs are so inviting, and each night fresh cookies or cake before we went to bed. We had a great time and a wonderful memory. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone wanting a great experience. EXCELLENT@

Southerning Living was right.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/13/08
Wnderful accomodations and wonderfully decorated. From Ralph Loren to the 50's motif, make this a quality Bed and Breakfast beyond others. Over the years have stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels and this rates a 5 star. The beds are exceptionally comfortable. The owners make you feel like a part of their family and comfortable. Relaxing and the food is excellent.

We will return
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/30/07
My wife and I were just looking the area over for a future fishing trip. Called the night before after reading good reviews and were warmly greeted. Like others have said, each of the rooms has it's own decor, they are clean, well taken care of and we look forward to returning. The hosts, Kaye and Steve, were great and provided useful information about the area. They were the kind of people you could consider friends in a short time. Beat the heck out of the typical motel room. Bottom line - we will return.

Excellence

I have stayed in many B&B's around Arkansas, and this one would be my choice the next time I am in Heber Springs. The hospitality of the management is very, very good.

Definite Recommend
By Karen, 6/8/07
My son and I just stayed there. The accomodations were wonderful. The owners were so gracious and hospitable. I do a lot of traveling in my job and this was so much better than a regular hotel. I will definitely stay there again if I am in the area.

A Pleasant Surprise in Heber Springs!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/11/07
Having never been through the area, my wife and I weren't sure what to expect and sort of stumbled across the Oak Tree Lodge online. Upon arrival any fears we may have had were laid to rest. The B&B is very charming, with a handful of rooms set to various styles and tastes. The entire house is tastefully done and exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere. Kaye, the hostess, treated us to a wonderful homemade breakfast the next morning...much better than any continental breakfast at some chain. Plus the friendly conversations we shared were great. She sent us on our way that day with several homemade treats to tide us over. If we ever get back through this area again we'll be back!

Excellent!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/2/06
Had a very good stay at this B&B. Above my expectations. Great breakfest. Friendly owners who gave us tips for where to eat (actually had many menus). Rooms varied in style and we plan to go back and try another room in the future.

Great place to stay
By Tony and AprilF, 1/17/06
This bed and breakfast was the highlight of our trip. We went for an anniversary weekend getaway and it rained almost the whole time we were there but we didn't mind because our room was so cozy. The couple who run it are two of the most friendly people we've ever met. We arrived after hours, but our key was waiting for us when we got there along with a friendly welcome message. The tub with jacuzzi jets was a plus too. Snacks and water/soda were available at all times. And Kaye's breakfast--TO DIE FOR! We skipped lunch both days we were there just because we had filled up so much on breakfast. This was the first time we had been to Heber and found it to be a little dull unless you want to jet-ski--But Oak Tree Lodge made up for it. We found the price to be a bit much for what you get, but compared to all the other nicer bed and breakfasts in Heber, it is quite comparable and they do offer military discounts if it applies to you. I highly recommend this B&B.
