Days Inn Shawnee, Shawnee

I booked a double non-smoking room after checking hotels online. We would have liked it to have a pool, but since we were in visiting family over a holiday weekend, that wasn't as high on our list of requirements for a hotel in that area. We've stayed in other area hotels when visiting Shawnee. Although, they all had pools and were a bit more costly (since they were in most cases newer facilities or part of a large chain). The lady at the front desk was very helpful and kind. Everytime we had a question or needed something, she made certain to do her best to accommodate our needs. I commented at check-in that the building doesn't look anything liked the pictures shown here. She indicated that it had been under a different name in the past and the outdoor remodel was the first change to be made. We had obligations with family, so we never ate the breakfast provided. However, by viewing the accommodations, eating area, and having stayed at other hotels by the same name, I can only imagine it would have been nice. Comfortable. Great location: just off the interstate! Clean. Friendly service. Great value for the price. Love, love, love, the shower and comfy beds! I would have rated it an overall 5 stars if they had a pool. We'll stay here again! The overall size of the room was of some concern at first as it was smaller than some hotels. However, the shower is awesome and the beds were among the best that any we've ever had at a hotel!

My Mother, niece & I stayed here last weekend 03/21. We booked thru an online service, got a great price, but wasn't given a choice of # of beds. We got a King. It was an awesome bed. Had to get a rollaway for my niece. The lady at front desk didn't like having to get it out for us. The rollaway had no sheets. Blanket & matress pad only. They both had cig burns all over. We were so tired. When my niece got up the next morning we seen that she had slept with mouse droppings. The morning front desk ladies were very apologetic. Otherwise very clean. I would stay again just not get a rollaway!

I have stayed here several times and found it to be clean, quiet and the staff helpful. I plan to stay here again this summer because of my past experience with this motel.

I think other 3 people are the same person, that reviewed this motel... They all 3 talk same way..lol.Like they robots. this is in monotone. Do you like it..not sure,

this motel room is dirty and smell something is bad and many bugs. and I was ask to front change the room but staff was rude and not helpful.

I was stay at the this motel room was not clean anyhow I was very tired so I just sleep and than next monning I see the bug on my bed not a one it was few
