Super 8 Wahpeton, Wahpeton

I've stayed at several Super 8 hotels recently and this was by far the worst. Desk clerk was indifferent, bathroom floor was dirty, towels were stained, AC was very noisy, mattress was so worn that we kept rolling to the middle and the breakfast was barely minimal. The maids should try using the vacuum hose attachment along baseboards once in awhile and check the light bulbs in the lamps (since one did not work). The room had a musty smell, and oddly enough, the door was propped open when we arrived. We were curious about that and the door did not close and latch very well.

After trying a number of lower-price motels, I've been sticking with Super 8. They're predictable and a cut above many other chains, as well as being affordable. This is one of the best Super 8s I've seen. My room had all the necessities: refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker,recliner loads of clean white towels, hair dryer, firm and comfortable mattress, and everything was extremely clean. I think the bathroom must have been remodeled because it was spotless. Not a bit of mold anywhere. Internet access was offered but I didn't use it. All this for only $49! I was there after Christmas. I came back a week later and my next room was just like the first one -- great.Overall, a good place to stay. The free continental breakfast had Cheerios, waffle, fruit, coffee, orange juice, apple juice, white & wheat toast, bagels, and muffins,egg. The coffee was very good. I didn’t have a reservation and was paying with cash. The cost was $49 (incl. tax)!!!!!!!!! He didn’t make me put down a deposit, but I would have paid one if I had to. Check-in is at 2pm and check-out at 11am. The gentleman said they will let guests check-in earlier if there are rooms available. Most of the needed ammenities are included. at this semi budget priced motel that you would usually have to pay at a higher priced motel.

I have been staying here for about 8 years or so. two to three times a month and this hotel is the best I have ever stayed in the area.Nice and clean beds are comfortable and firm. great service great people.nice and safe place to spend a night. restaurent are closed by. I would recomend this hotel it's a great place to stay.

The bathroom was awful. We stayed here with a group of people and we had 5 rooms total. Every tub had soap scum in it. It was dirty and disgusting. There was dog feces all over the snow covered sidewalks. The breakfast area was filthy too. I wouldn't stay here again. The staff was nice enough and did offer to cancel my reservation or switch my room.

This is the most disgusting dirty place ever, the staff is very unfriendly I beleive thery are terroists, I have never been treated so rude in my life, this place needs to get shut down, they said some very horrible things to me and my family, things i can not repeat they were so disgusting!!!!!

I stayed there with my family.We were passing through this town.It was nice hotel,not very new but clean rooms,nice comfortable beds,good service.We checked the price was almost half then other hotel in town.Great breakfast with waffles,donut,muffins,eggs,juice and cereal etc.Nice helpfull staff.I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

My wife and I go swimming a lot and the pool had way too much chlorine in it. I told the person in the lobby and he insisted that he put as much chlorine as he was trained and that that's how it's supposed to be. It burned your eyes and skin. Also, our toilet was dirty.

i like my stay at super 8 beds are comfortable staff was nice room was clean and peacefull good value for price

the rooms are clean and quiet and the help is very nice. good location convienent right on the highway. nice pool and hot tub. comfortable new beds. good breakfast, i stay here every time im in wahpeton.

This hotel was very dirty, beds were very small, and overall was disgusting. Would never stay here again.
