My "non" smoking room was permeated with cigarette smoke, regardless of the fragrance they tried to cover it up with. The worst part is that, as the fragrance wore off, I realized it wasn't covering up just smoke: the room/carpet smelled of urine too. Electrical outlets are uncaulked and the fitting for the pipe leading to the shower head was coming off. The paint on the outside of some of the room doors is peeling off, and the pool was closed due to maintenance, who knows for how long, and this is July. It's not as if this place can't afford better upkeep; it was a weeknight and the parking lot became more or less full. The only positive is that, for no wireless internet, the dialup speed was the highest possible. If you're a non smoker and/or wireless internet matters, as well as cleanliness in general, you'd be much better off spending the extra $10-15 and staying a quarter of a mile up the road, on the same side, at the Econo Lodge.
