Red Roof Inn Jackson Downtown/Fairgrounds, Jackson

For the price we paid the rooms were adequate. The rooms were clean, beds comfy, and staff friendly. We weren't looking for anything fancy, just a place to sleep, and it definitely met our needs. There were only 2 notable issues. One was that when we checked in there was a cheaper rate available and the woman at the desk never offered it to us. Two days after our arrival my husband was in the office and a family was getting the same exact room we had only at a cheaper rate. When my husband asked the woman said she would give us the discounted rate from that day until the end of our stay. The other issue was room cards!! All 4 of us had problems with the room key "demagnetizing". In our 8 day stay we had to get our keys reprogrammed 6 times. But overall we were satisfied & plan on staying there again this summer.
