Majestic Shores, Myrtle Beach

My family stayed at Majestic Shores in July of 2009. When we arrived in Myrtle Beach we had intended on staying with my Aunt ,but my daughter had nothing to do in the neighborhood. So one morning we sat out to find a hotel and the only one with a vacancy and within our budget was Majestic. I went in to see if they had rooms available and the did!! They even gave me a key card to go look at the room before checking in. We had a wonderful time!!! Actually this year we are planning to go back and take our 2 wonderful Dachshunds with us! I can't wait. The staff was awesome and so polite. The only issues I had was the mini fridge didn't work but a simple call down to the office and it was taken care of within 30 minutes and the elevator was broken. Which wasn't really an issue for my family, but my Aunt came back to the hotel with us one night just to sit and chat after dinner.She is elderly and my husband had to basically carry her up the stairs to our 2nd floor room. other than that we had no problems at all!!

i took my family an sister on vacation rhonda an staff was great our room was clean an they was very helpfull they made our stay just grand i would advise everyone to stay there if they on tight budget it was just great an we are going to go back if we can soon

I took my family to Myrtle Beach on a good budget.  We chose the Majestic Breeze because it was a great price, and on the beach.  We were very impressed because after reading alot of reviews (after we made the trip) we were worried about what we were going to see. My family had a great time, the motel was very enjoyable to stay and we had a great room. The front desk helped us with all of our questions and were very polite when doing so.  Every motel has its faults (as read in other reviws) but me and my family will return to the Majestic Breeze for a good vacation!!!!

I will never return there or advise anyone else to stay there first we had to wait for 2 hours late to get into our room because it needed to be cleaned the room stunk and it looked like they only made the bed the whirl pool tub coasted us more to have in our room but it didnt even work and it looked like it hadnt been cleaned ever with a ring of dirt around the top

I have read many reviews about majestic shores and I was expecting the worst, I found the site on bringfido.com and booked the room then read the reviews, well, I found the reviews untrue, my only complaints are there is no coffee pot or alarm clock and some pet owners did not clean up after their pet-but not the staff's fault (which I did, all you have to do people is get the diper bag throw-a-ways and carry them with you, pick up your dogs mess and throw it away, don't be so lazy) and that's it, the staff was wonderful and friendly and treated my dogs just like family, which is important to me because they are my "kids", the room was clean, the beds were clean (I packed sheets but didn't feel the need to use them), I always bleach a hotel bathroom where ever I go, but the bathroom was clean, stocked with toilet paper and soap, and I probably didn't need to bleach the bathroom but like I said it's an ocd behavior and do it everywhere, the carpets were not wet, the pool was open and crystal clear, no bugs or sand and witnessed it being cleaned every morning, the jacuzzi was closed but that didn't slow me down, the elevator was out of order but once again I'm not so lazy that I can't walk and carry things at the same time, but it does make it hard on someone with a disability, we had a 3rd floor oceanfront balcony and I enjoyed every minute of it! I will return to this hotel, anything I needed was provided with friendly service. I know everyone has their own opinions but my opinion was this place was nice, and I will return with no doubts. I would suggest Majestic Shores to others.

I booked a weekend at Majestic Shores through PriceRightHotels.com. Well with that site it plainly says your credit card will not be charged anything until you arrive. Well I didn't have anython my card until that Friday when we went down, well the motel charged me a night stay and of course my bank was overdrafted. I called them and the site and of course no one would help me resolve my issue - until this day no one has helped me - about the rooms they stunk and the shower curtain was totally full of mildew - i was so scared to take a shower - thank goodness it was only for two nights - the room was not the worth the price we paid for

Well,I have noticed some disturbing comments about here in regards to pool, jacuzzi being dirty, the rooms appearing dirty as well as all things not functioning properly??. I am not sure I like that this place has no sliding glass doors out the front & I am not crazy about pets there, where do they poop?. I don't think they should be allowed to trot around at all. I also don't know if I like the pool on the side and not in front where you can see the ocean and sand, and well the sun can't shine on you as much here either. The lady offered me a great deal though and she seemed so nice, and I have heard it has improved due to remodeling, but, they can put just a couple new things in and say it is remodeled ya'know. Well if anyone can help me or make me more comfortable that would be great. All the other motel are outrageous!!!.We used to stay at Apache, but it is now Ocean Blue, Condo motel. Please forward any helpful information into this site and I will check back. let me know what ya think, pLease, we have not been on vacation in four years, I just don't want disappointed Samshell

although i have not stayed here yet, i did want to pass on the info i just recvd by calling them. They are currently remodeling teh entire place and will not have any summer rates until feb or march since they aren't done yet. I was informed that it would probably be around $50 or so anight +tax. They do allow pets and there is no charge/fee for those under 10 lbs which is great news for us since everywhere else is like $10-30 a night or up to a $250 fee for the week which is crazy for our small baby who only weighs 7 lbs and stays in his crate when we're not around. Will definatley be looking toward staying here.

we were at majestic shores for 9 days...there are no sliding glass doors...and it is not associated with super 8... family owned motel...wonderful staff...they made our stay awesome...pool was alway crystal blue....we want to thank Monica, Stephanie, and Rhonda for all they did for our family...We will be back....

We stayed at the Majestic Shores last week for 5 days with our dog- he was the only one who liked the place. We found the motel on the internet through a pet friendly site and called and reserved our room. Everything sounded great and we got a good rate for a kitchinette room with balcony view of the ocean. Well we arrived we tried to go to our room on the second floor via elevator which was being worked on!!! So we walked and on first site the room looked a little dirty and old. I went out to the car to get some more things and came back and my husband said "there isn't a coffee maker". Well there were no dishes, silverware, pots---NOTHING!!! We called and the staff was very friendly and brought us what we needed- their excuse was everybody stole everything so they didn't leave anything in the rooms. Then I look around- everything was filthy- dirt and dust everywhere- the floor had not been vaccuumed- hair in the tub and all over the bathroom floor. I had to clean everything.Some of the outlets did not work- the cover for the kitchen light was not on- bare bulb. The towel rack in the bathroom fell off when I hung a towel on it. Now for the exterior of the motel- grounds were a mess- junk laying everywhere- the pool was dirty- We never went in- we were afraid to. The so called jacuzi was not in operation- dry with green slime- was being used for a junk room. The trash can in the back yard was full and not emptied the whole 5 days we were there- of course attracting a lot of flies. The sheet did seem clean and the bed was comfortable- those were the only good things. I would not recommend this place to anyone.We are embarrassed to tell anyone about this new place where we stayed- we will never stay there again.
