good food and quiet
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/3/11
good location for the wedding at farminton country club. Not as close as some but we had a gift card and were glad we could use it. Great food as owners are culinary experts. Good local beer. Room was quiet and large enough. Nice history to the place and all included breakfasts were exception including the Sumatra roasted coffee! No real dislikes. It is 6 miles or so from downtown but I think that is a plus since they are away from the traffic.

Place is really nice, (Jim Owner) could use a class or two in customer service

The Inn in a parking lot
By FreakyFrog58, 3/2/06
The place was fine except they don't mention the Inn is in the parking lot of a huge apartment complex with millions of screaming kids. For the kind of money we paid I would expect a little nicer surroundings. Also this place is was out of Charlottesville and the traffic from the Inn down Route 29 to get to town was absolutely horrendous. The Inn is located at the worst, most conjested part of Route 29 north by a huge new shopping center. Allow an extra 10 - 15 minutes more than what the innkeepers say to get anywhere. But again the Inn itself was nice.
