A fabulous inn; we'll be back.

We've stayed at many bed and breakfast inns in the past, but none has compared to the excellence we found at Summit Street Inns in Winston-Salem.
Our room was exquisite--luxurious, spacious, impeccably clean and beautifully furnished with antiques and works of art. Every amenity for our comfort and pleasure had been considered: a huge jacuzzi tub for two, soft robes, a cozy fireplace, an in-room refrigerator stocked with beverages and delicious food (pastries, quiche and more), TV, stereo, an enormous library of films and CD's, and even a satellite radio by our bedside! Nothing seemed to have been overlooked. Had our stay been longer, we would have tried our luck in the billiard room and taken advantage of the Nautilus exercise room.
The staff at Summit Street Inns couldn't have been more accommodating. We requested the specialty of the house for breakfast, and the most heavenly French toast that ever passed my lips was graciously delivered to our room by the morning innkeeper. A number of excellent restaurants less than a block away offered us a variety of dining choices.
We will definitely make a return visit to this exceptional Inn, and next time we plan to stay longer!
