Conch House, Daytona Beach

when i went to daytona i stayed at the conch , it wasnt a 5 star place but for $45 a night you cant go wrong with the place , vacation sucked cause it rained every day for 7 days so we were stuck in the room. first room we had was a lil dirty cause the leak in the ceiling but the room next door was great , n u can walk to everything from this place

My boyfriend and I stayed 3 nights at this motel. It was a very good value and its located right on the beach. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. When we return to Daytona, we will be staying there again.

Internet buyers beware! This place looks (and sounds) nothing like it is in person. Checked in and out within minutes. Unclean, unkempt, unsafe, and disgusting! Chain of hotels owned by Ocean Waters Hotels and Resorts who are currently in Bankruptcy.........Beware! Needs to be reported to the Health Department and Better Business Bureau. Only positive was the very kind, friendly front desk clerk, Jennifer. I only hope she gets out of this place alive.

Terrible, not clean smelled like mold in the room. we walked in and turned and walked out got refund and went else where. wasnt like computer made it to be.

We got to daytona beach one day early and checked into this room because we had prior reservations for a hotel 5 down from this one and this one was reasonably cheap....The room was absolutely disgusting. we expected the roaches to some out at anytime. the bedcovers were all stained and had burn holes in them the carpet was so dirty you couldnt take your shoes off...the price makes it okay for college kids on srping break but not for people with a child...the doors to the room swing outward so you cant lock it safely. we didnt even put my daughter in her pack n play we let her sleep in the bed with us. the bathroom was disgusting. what i think was the safe in the closet had no door. there were three different doors in the room. two that exited the room and one that looked like it connected to the room next door. I am so glad we didnt book our whole trip here as we had planned to. the pictures online look COMPLETELY different from what you get. The only good thing about this place was the staff...the man at the front desk was very nice and accomodating...he checked us in at midnight and when we couldnt get the deposit he took our credit card number instead...they also charge 3 dollars a day to park in their parking lot...

Where do i begin just demolish it and start again. Dirty, doors dont fit properly, security chains broken, cigarette burns on bed linen, food baked on microwave, Bath mouldy and got a hole in it. Two good things were clean towels and staff on reception very nice suppose they need to be working at that place.

I did not like that place at all I was at the Ocean Walk for five days and the last two I stayed at the Conch House. A total difference that I felt sick. My boyfriend and I was displeased with the place I was go glad to check out. When we got there, we pulled the comforter off first and why did we do that the sheets was so nasty, we asked for more. The bathroom was the smallest bathroom I have ever seen with the nasty tub. The room telephone was nasty I used my cell phone to call the front desk. The balcony looking out to the beach had chipping paint on it, the door knob coming in from the balcony had a disgusting mold or something on it. I didn't want to be in the room until it was time for bed. My boyfriend wasn't pleased with the place either, he had a metallic taste in his mouth when he woke up one morning, thinking it was from the air conditioner, and his eyes bothered him which he felt was an allergic reaction. I would not recommend this place to no one. The price is good but it truly mean "You get what you pay for". The low price is not worth it. I learned my lesson and I will pay the price to stay somewhere nice. But since it is located on Atlantic Ave. it is nearby the attractions on the Atlantic strip.

The location was good, but the hotel was dirty and there were broken drawers and lights that did not work. There was not a feeling of security @ the hotel, also.

the room was bad. the carpets had stains on it. the bathroom was dirty. the front desk was rude. i wouldn't stay here again. the hotel was okay.

we stayed there last summer for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay we have 2 children and we were able to get a room with 3 beds for a really good price. we liked the view. overall we liked the place although it is nothing fancy it was good for a family on a budget
