Baron's Cove Inn, Sag Harbor

My family and I come up here every year to vacation. The rooms are nice and the prices better. It is a short walk to the village and possible celebrity sitings. My brother talked to Billy Joel who lives in SAg Harbor. Billy was out walking his dog. The car ride to the ocean and bay beaches is ten minutes, tops. The hotel provides the permit for the beaches! Every morning I woke up to a continental breakfast, cofee, bagels, juice, fruit, muffins. The one thing I disliked is that there was no; light up on the top deck. The staff ho;wever did give us a lantern which was fine. My family and I sat at the table on the deck and had a great time having drinks and snacks. Anone who does not enjoy this place and writes a bad review must be a competitor or a complete snob!

We stayed last summer with our kids. When we arrived the room smelt of mildew. There were bugs in the shower so we wore our shoes. And as a parting gift our entire family got lice from the disgusting bedding. Gross!! It's completely over priced stay someplace else!!

very convenient to town - however - guess we had a very old room - it needs a lot of tlc - especially the bathroom. Everything was clean but very old - in our room - staff are excellent.

After reading multiple negative reviews about Sag Harbor I was hesitant about a trip to the Barons Cove Inn. However, I was forced to go up for family reunion. My son and I found it to be an enjoyable experience. The two level room was great, because I was able to stay up and read after my son went to bed. The full kitchen was definitely a great attribute to the room also. My son enjoyed the trip so much that he is already asking me to book a reservation for next month.

It's at a great location within walking distance to the town: restaurants, bars, and shopping yet out of the way of constant traffic. I booked after Labor Day, so it was really really nice and quiet. The room was comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. I was happy to be able to bring along my kitty whom requires daily medication. The room was very cozy and comfortable. I also would like to commend the staff in locating and mailing my cellphone to me (I left it in the room before checking out).

This little hotel is within walking distance to everything in Sag Harbor. Pop in the car for jaunts to anything in the Hamptons. It is what it is though. Not fancy but great price with pool for the kids when your sick of the beach.
