Pinehurst Cottages & Motels, Alexandria Bay

Was looking forward to this trip with other friends and families to relax and have fun. On 2 separate occassions we were yelled at by the staff. Once because we were talking inside the screened in porch at 10:30pm and the next evening at 8:30pm our kids were yelled at for being to loud. I would say the cabins are a bit run down and he playground needs work. If you want to catch sunfish then the dock is the place to be.

My husband and I stayed in a motel, which is a cottage-like setting., If you like to "rough-it" (camping style), then you will enjoy your stay, We did. Grab a cooler, bathing suit, and your s'more fixin's. The office offers complimentary coffee, and you may purchase ice. There is a fenced inground pool near the other row of motels. We stayed down by the docks, where there is a fire pit, and swings by the river's edge. Our site included a picnic table. Inside, a double bed, TV, air, space heater, desk, small closet (bring some hangers) and a small bath with shower. A few outlets for a blow dryer, iron or steamer, alarm clock, etc. Room was clean, people were friendly. We were just minutes away from Alexandria Bay, and dining was very close by, Our stay was quiet and relaxing. A great place to get away from it all, or to enjoy with family and friends. *We plan on going back and taking our friends!

i saw reviews and pics on internet ,was impressed till we got to our  cottage, very run down and the bathroom was the worst, paint chipping off the wall, toilet not secure to the floor, door didn't shut all the way. the location was good, enjoyed the view by the river, very helpful staff
