Middletown Motel, Middletown

I took my Girlfriend here to have a nice get away trip. I spent hours planning and a friend of mine drove out to the motel ahead of time to help me put up some romantic decoration and gifts around the room. We spent only one night there and I will never go back there again! The night started out alright, although I had to request a new mini fridge cause the first one didnt work, a problem a dealt with when I first arrived to decorate. The night started out okay until after a few hours and a bottle of wine later, my girlfriend saw a cockaroach crawling on the floor. It wasnt the only one we saw that night and this threw all the romance out the door. All night long she couldnt sleep due to the roaches we saw and killed, one even was seen crawling on our bed. All I could do was apologize to her. I wanted to leave but we had been drinking and I wouldnt risk the chance of a DWI. I complained early the next morning and left hours before check out. I only waited until morning time to complain because 1. we both had been drinking. 2. It would have taken a good 1/2 hour to clean and remove all the romantic decorations from the room and since we couldnt leave - switching to another room in this roach motel woulndnt mean that there wouldnt necessarily be any other roaches in another room. When morning came, the motel wasnt compassionate at all. They didnt believe us because we hadnt complained sooner, I explained my reasons why, due to the alcohol we both had been drinking. They made it seem like it was a crime for 2 people over the age of 21 to be drinking in a rented motel room. My girlfriend got upset and told them, "I didnt think I should have held onto one of the roaches we killed in our room last night" there only remark was, "How do we know it came from here?" We gave them a few more lasting words of choice and all they gave us was 20 dollars back and a night of restlessness. I cant believe this place is still open! Beware because during morning hours the roaches at this motel, DON'T come out to play!

My favorite part of staying there was being close to everything and the heart shaped tubs. Love it! They are friendly in the lobby. The maid service was nice. The rooms are clean , but the rooms could use some more towels that have the tubs in them. The rooms are good sized. My hubby and I get away from the children 1 night a year and this is where we always have gone for the past 2 years this will be our 3rd.

It took to stay there,hours of cleaning the room.The rooms are filthy.The people that run the place are just as nasty with the exception of 1 gent.Stay clear!

First of all when we got in the room the heater was extremely loud. Then the bathroom light didnt work. The man did come to fix it, but then the heater only blew out warm air that night! Then the last night I was there I saw a cockroach. So unless your looking for some sleezy motel don't go to this one. Super 8 is right next door!!!!!

I took my wife to this motel, and I found the price was very reasonable, the room was extremely clean. The heart shaped jacuzzi was the highlight of the stay. Would love to go back for another anniversary stay.

I stayed at the Middletown Motel for 3 weeks while in NY visiting my g/f, they gave me excellent rates and were a friendly bunch however they need to do something about the security and cleanliness of the rooms. The room I was staying had no window locks and someone actually tried to enter via the window while I was sleeping! I would not stay there again.

the first room i was given was trashed - dirty sheets on floor - then the receptionist called my room at 2:30AM to tell me he was going to call the police because HE could'nt find my receipt - horrible dirty place

I visited the motel for Orange county fair. Nice room service, receptionist is very co-operative, Good breakfast in the morning and I have a please time with my wife.Hot Tubs are really nice. I will visit this motel in 3 months.
