Hammondsport Motel, Hammondsport

We're always looking for cool old motels. This one has super location on Lake Keuka, a short stroll from picturesque Hammondsport. It's clean, and has nifty decor - including funky wood panelling and louvred windows on doors. The big drawback is it's noisy and LOUD plumbing system. Every flush and faucet in any unit seems to reverberate thru entire motel. Price is $80 per night, with 2 night minimum during weekends. We did enjoy our stay, but won't do it again -the plumbing soundtrack tuckered us out.

The rate on this site is $57.00 per night, but when I called it was $76.00 per night with a 2 night min. The lady on the phone said "I don't know how the hell that rate got on the internet" and didn't seem to care. The place is nice...but I don't know if it's woth $80.00 plus after taxes.

This is one of our favorite places to return to year after year. Usually a couple of times a year! This is a very quaint old stlye Motel that's like stepping right back in time to the Dick Van Dike show circa 1962, wood paneling, the whole 9 yards, but it's so IMMACUALTE and somehow just works so well that it's exactly what works!.. Its right on the lake, the Hosts are wonderful, the rooms are clean ( did I mention this place is really, really , really clean?) Hammondsport is wonderful, and it in seconds walking distance from the motel, Rest, Pub, shops, Entertainment, and really friendly neighboors. I checked it off as being a hip trendy scene, I mean, its not a drive in, but its as close as you will get to the 60's. Only way cleaner. Give it a whirl

We stayed at this great little motel the weekend of a friend's wedding in Hammondsport. The location is great with it's waterfront location, it was very, very clean, and everything worked ... shower, phone, etc. I highly recommend it, and I am very picky about where I lay my head.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here. The waterfront location is great. The scenery is beautiful. There are nice restaurants within walking distance. There are several wineries nearby. We especially enjoyed Bully Hill Vineyards. We also were able to launch our boat right in front of the motel. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Tips- Be sure to enjoy shopping at The Cinnamon Stick and Browsers in Hammondsport. Also, enjoy dining at The Waterfront restaurant on Keuka Lake.

Hammondsport is the most quaint little town in the finger lakes region.We found the Hammondsport motel on the shores of beautiful keauka lake on our first trip to the area, and fell in love with it. We have been back every year since.The motel is located in a hub of festivals and shops, and the motels owners, Ralph and Mitzi are the perfect hosts.Do your self a favor and visit soon.
