Fair Wind Motel & Cottages, Clayton

We stayed here late September and fully enjoyed our experience. The staff is extremely helpful and always willing and available to help. We stayed in a cottage and loved the quaintness and rustic feel of the place. It was perfect and was fully stocked with everything we needed! It was so nice to not have to worry about bringing linens and supplies – just our clothes and food! The view is outstanding, the best in Clayton it seems like. Will stay again in the future for sure!

My friend and I came to the Fair Wind in June of 2007. We thought the room was excellent and the Man and Women that run the motel were very very nice. We were there for the Dog Show in Clayton and It took us only a few minutes to get to the Show building in the mornings. We already booked for this year 2008!!

quiet freindly clean. Fire pit for after hours gathering Great pool On the water sourounded by farms 12E good for a nice jog @3 mile away from town, makes a nice walk We start it as a tradition to go yearly
