Bad Experience

Funny that a previous review I wrote about this hotel is absent from this site. In Sept, 2007, I stayed at this hotel. I called the hotel from the airport to access the free shuttle. The hotel is a mile from the Albany, NY airport. The shuttle driver still had not come after 20 minutes. I called, again. This time, I spoke with a young man, and I noted this was my second call. The shuttle driver was at the airport in 5 minutes. The shuttle driver was very nice and apologized, profusely, as he had not received my first call.
The carpet was coming up at the entry way. I had been put into a smoked-in room, which several hotel staff admitted that they were aware of the problem with this room, and to top it off, I had no hot water in the shower. I had hot water in the sink, but not the shower. They said they fixed it, then when I called back about the issue, the front desk argued with me that they had fixed it.
I was very disappointed in this location, and I have stayed a many Hampton Inns.
