We go there every year!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/24/09
This place is very good. Its location couldnt be any better, it is right next to a breakfast and lunch and dinner resteraunt and on the other side it has a pizza place! It was very fun staying there they have a pool that is half inside half outside so if it rains you can swim! It was definatly worth the money and it is right near a beach! I love this place! We have been going there for six years!! We tried one other place to make sure that we wernt gettng ahead of ourself and to try other places and this one takes the cake defanitly.

Beware!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/03/08
We had a reservation with a credit card. We were going to be getting there late, so we called at 7 P.M. to let them know. The woman on the phone "looked up" the reservation and said no problem they'd be expecting us. We arrived at almost midnight (very tired from the10 hr drive) to be told the credit card was declined and the only room they had was a king. There were 3 adults in our party. No cot we were told, but one of us "could sleep on the floor"! We called the credit card company. No problem with the card. Nor was there a problem at the other motel we found at midnight. Nor was there a problem with the card for the following 10 days when it was used.We stopped in to discuss the matter the next day. The owner was there and was beyond rude to us. He couldn't be bothered to hardly look up from his laptop. I was stunned at just how nasty he was. The woman we spoke with who told us she looked up the reservation couldn't explain why she didn't mention the declined card, nor why she did not contact our home right after the reservation was made. I believe she entered the card number wrong and that was why it was declined. The bottom line is that they did not handle the situation well, left us without a room where we could all have a bed, and then were nasty about it. I suggest to pay a bit more and stay somewhere else. When I stayed there previously I wasn't impressed, but suggested it due to the price.

Don't Bother
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/29/08
This place looked pretty decent from reviews posted online on travel sites and such, so my family and I though we'd try it out. Bad idea. The rooms (advertised as clean) were in shameful condition when we arived. The maids were pushy and knocked every five minutes, and I frankly did not feel comfortable having two loud, very young teenage girls bustle through the rooms giggling and making rude comments while my young children, my wife and I stood right in the room. The staff was surly and seemed to be composed of mainly teenagers. The location was alright, but I must admit I dreaded returning to that hotel after the day's excursions. Our rooms were drab, and the pool - unappealing. The price was outrageous for the experience provided, and I would strongly recommend going elsewhere for your stay on Cape Cod.

Family Friendly
By christine, 04/06/07
I discovered this spot when I was a new single mother with a young son. It provided us with a lovely affordable vacation. It is family run and it shows. A very safe and comfortable spot for any family with kids. Your kids can swim until 10pm while you read poolside. Works for me. The only place we ever go!

Continues to lose its appeal !!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/25/06
We have stayed a few years but this motel is losing its grip on reality. We were told that they are now requiring people with more than 4 in their group that they need to get 2 rooms instead of one,not sure if this is really a fair policy considering other motels on the cape are not using that same policy.Oh well, there are only 2 of us so it doesnt really affect us but i will say that they are becoming more rude and less helpful than they have been in the past. Not too sure if we will be returning to the Hunters Green again and guys...You need to remodel !!

Dont Bother
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/28/06
The brochure looked great and the reviews seem good. Best pool on the cape, if you like mold/mildew. The edges were covered and looked like it hadn't been cleaned. Cheap, but expect classless people. Rooms are kept clean and maids do a great job, but the insulation for sound is terrible. Sleepless nights on the Cape, go to the Hunters Green.

Extremely Dissapointed this year !!
By Ronald, 08/23/06
We enjoyed the Hunters Green in 05 but when we called to make reservations for 06 we were told that if we had more than 4 people we had to get 2 rooms and last year we stayed in 1 room with a family of 5 and it was comfy for us? The excuse given was that people with 6 or 7 people in their party were staying in 1 room ! Can I make a suggestion? Get a bit more proactive and pay attention to your motel and your rooms and your rules and maybe those of us who enjoyed staying with you who cant afford 2 rooms arent punished for your ineptness and inabilities to enforce your rules!!! Its a shame and it was unfair and furthermore we went to New Hampshire this year so your not helping your economy by making these new rules either ?

It was ok for a 2 night stay
By Kathleen, 07/25/06
The place was fine for the two nights that we stayed.Didn't get to enjoy the pool but it looked great. Only downside are the rooms they need to update walls carpet etc looked like it wasn't redone since the 70's.
