where did you go?

I really enjoyed vacationing here with the kids and extended family. I would like to go back, but have been unable to find a current phone number. Did it change hands or close down?

One of My Favorite Places
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/17/08
I too have been vacationing at Seaside since childhood. My mother and I spent wonderful mother/daughter getaways there. I have since brought my children, as well as friends of mine. I haven't been in a couple of years and hope to return this year. It is an excellent value. In close proximity to Provincetown. All rooms look out onto the ocean, the staff is friendly and rooms are clean. My experiences have always been pleasurable and I have fond memories. I highly recommend this location.

A Long Love Affair
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/17/07
I first stayed here around 1983, then again in 1987, 1988 and 2000. My favorite was cottage one, but I noticed the windows were rotting in 2000 (not surprising given the sea wind). This cottage is ideal for a person alone or a couple. It has views on four sides and a kitchenette attached to the main bedroom area. There is a nice deck outside with a table and chairs, and a good shared bar be que and lounging area. There is a small private beach and private beach access, but be aware that when the tide is up and rough, it can be dangerous. There is a shuttle bus into and out of Provincetown at a dollar per person, which wasn't there during my first visits. Still, a rental car is advised (there is free parking on site). During my 2000 visit, we had no drivers' licenses, so wrote to the management in advance, sent a check, and a shopping list, and asked them to stock the kitchen. Bless them, they did, and the manager even lent his bike to my husband, who is way younger than I and very athletic. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and would love to try the period right after Labor Day. Don't expect any excitement here, just peace and quiet and the constant sound of the surf. I've even visited during nasty weather and found the place cozy and congenial.
