Regency 265 Motor Inn, Warminster

We only needed a room for one night , so we just wanted a basic, no frills hotel. That being said--we certainly did not need to wake up--in the middle of the night-- with bed bug bites on us: myself,my husband & our 15 yr old daughter!!!! And I also noticed bugs in the bath & hallway the next morning. That was disgusting..the lesser offenses, but still pretty bad, was that it really was a dated, dreary & not very clean room. Also, the weird, unpleasant smells on first floor. The most insulting thing about the whole experience was that when we complained to the lady(owner?) at the front desk at checkout about the bed bugs she offered to take off a GRAND TOTAL of $5 from our bill. Yes--I'm not kidding. We could not get out of there fast enough!! GROSS__GROSS__GROSS

I have been staying at this place for awhile. However over the last year the price has gone up to 80.00 a night a bit expensive. Make sure you stay on the second floor because the first floor the rooms have bugs and its not as clean.

Pros: Room and front desk area were clean. Area is quiet, safe, and peaceful. Kind of a suburban neighborhood and strip-mall area. The linens were clean and crisp. Decent mattress. Staff was helpful and polite. Window-mounted climate control worked well even with humidity and August heat. Cons: The place is pretty old and has a dated feel. Water-damaged pressboard vanity in bathroom, TV cabinet missing one door, and decorations were tacky. None of this was gross or nasty, just wasn't pretty. Bottom line: Nothing to impress someone with, but a good choice if you're looking for a good night's sleep in a place with none of the frills.

the rooms were fairIy clean but had a strange unidentifiable smell. The water in the bathroom sink was almost impossible to turn off. The towels and the sheets had more lint on them than I ever seen on anything coming out of a dryer. Not able to connect to the internet at all. sorry, not very happy, moved to another motel for the next 2 nights of my visit to the area
