Amish Lanterns Motel Strasburg, Strasburg

I had a really good experience staying this motel and even after. At first, considering the reasonable price, It was pretty good place to stay! And guys, it was less than 80 dollars per night for 2 queen size beds and some old feature at the bathroom toilet cover does not make any problem, I stayed there on very snowy day and room was actually pretty warm and I didn't have any problem sleeping. The second, the location was great! near to the amish village and all the good buffet restaurants nearby(Miller's, Hersey Farm..ect.). If you don't mind spending more than 100 bucks for one day staying in same look-a-like major hotel or inn, do so! but It was actually great experience just sleeping at the reasonable but cozy motel and spending the rest of money on the activities and tasty food! And the last but the best, there are really nice people, I left a cellphone battery charger after checkout and you know what? the staff just mailed it back to me with no extra money! I even asked I can send them a check for mailing fee but the lady said no problem for mailing it back and not to worry about it. And I got my battery charger back!

Don"t stay here the rooms are dirty and outdated. two out of the four towels we had were dirty. wi-Fi doesn't work had to piggy-back off of the house next door.MICE!!! Was told at front desk it was the first time MICE!!!MICE!!!MICE!!! only recieved half refund. Go stay ANYWHERE else

This place was so close to everything. The rooms were spotless and the service great. The price was unbelieveable. If you are looking for a nice quiet place, this is it. It is no way "upscale". Just a very relaxing place to stay while you visit the attractions.

I really felt at home there. Everyone was nice and the place was clean.

It was filthy,we wouldn't eat there for free.Wouldn't have stayed at all, but were tired from driving all day.Air cond. was filthy in window. Probably would get legionairs if used. People were really bad, no one at desk late at night or until about 8 am. Phone didn't work,what if you had no cell phone in case of emergancy. BAD

This place is a dump!! Lighting a match under it would be the best thing to happen. It should be condemned by the state of PA.
