Birch Knoll, Laconia

The owners were very friendly at check in, the grounds were very well kept and the rooms were spotless,the pool was great and the housekeeping staff were friendly and efficient, a very affordable place to stay, coffee and newspaper in the morning, i would highly recommend this motel to anyone

Found the Birch Knoll Motel on-line last year and decided to give it a try. When we got there we found out it was a wonderful place to stay at. The owners were really friendly and took pride in taking care of everything. The room was nice and really clean and well taken care of. The pool was quiet and very relaxing. The free coffee and newspaper was a great extra. It was really close to everything we wanted to do. Can't wait to go back again this year.

The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, the kids loved snorkling and fishing off the dock, the pool was beautiful and relaxing, the sunsets from the deck were fantastic and the cable TV had lots of clear channels. The mini fridge, microwave( in the game room), and free ice were nice extras. Would definitely go back.

Came across this place after stopping at 4 or 5 other places that were just substandard. Owner was happy to show rooms and the property. Has access to the lake across the street with a dock and a small beach area which is nice to swim from. Pool was heated to a nice temp. This was one of the few places with a pool and lake access. The only place that had a reasonable weekend rate. Nice BBQ area, and Rec room for kids. Rooms were to a nice standard and clean.

The outdoor pool across the street from the lake is always empty and relaxing.

Our vacation in the Weirs was great and the Birch Knoll was a nice place to stay. The kids loved the huge pool and the room was really clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and it was a good value, can't wait to go again.
