Hampton Harbor Motel, Hampton

Stayed here for a couple of nights, overall a good stay. Room was clean, location is ok.

The new owners are renting to anyone, place was full with young adults running around most of the night. Pool area needs pleanty of work and new chairs, the lounge chairs are broken. Rooms are not as clean as the say. We have stayed here many years with the previous owners and it was great. We won't be back again.

My family and I had a great time here the staff was friendly, the room was clean, great service, clean pool. It was a great time for us and that's the way it should be.

We entered rm one-which was not cleaned yet just to see our rm -no way even if it was cleaned that we were going to stay in rm 203..so on to rm two- which we stayed in with 2 "hard"old beds-rm 118. Then on to room three on the second day which was rm 110. The rm had a budwiser sign on the wall -which we did not find impressive for a rm that is to fit all guest. The hot water was out when we came back from the ocean at 3pm and the desk clerk said well we had a full house and ran out-then get a hot water tank to fit your hotel size!!!! The rm was freezing as their a/c is controlled at the front desk not by the individual rms. The sheets smelled smokey, and it looked like urine stains all over the side of the mattress-it was disgusting. And a nice stain was on the rug near or bed-get down on your hands and knees and clean it if necessary.. I discovered bites all over my ankle area the night after I left and believe their was probably bed bugs. Please stay away from this dump. The site on the web looks really nice and is definetely a set up as our bed spread was at least from the 1970's The water from the pool above the front desk area leaked down on our vehicle daily. There was a disco dance hall across the street from rm 110 you could hear the constant pounding of the music. We paid 119.00 a night and had to cancel one week ahead in order to get our money back. Believe me it was not worth 50.00. I put in many complaints and he just gave me back 20.00 which was a slap in the face. Rename your hotel Dumpsville not Hampton Harbor Hotel as you can not see the harbor from this hotel...

Checked in, dropped our bags and went directly to the beach. Returned a few hours later and found that our room smelled like stale cigarette smoke, the battery was out of the smoke detector(illegal), the carpeting was a mess, very unclean kitchen area, cigarette burns in the comforter, stained sheets, stained and soiled towels, no hot water. Upon speaking with the clerk regarding this, he appeared that he could not have cared less. When I demanded a refund, he pointed to a sign leaning against the wall stating no refunds. Maybe I would have seen the sign if it were at eye level and there weren't things piled in front of it. Needless to say we did not receive a refund even though we were only there for 4HOURS!! WATCH OUT FOR THIS PLACE!!! They are deceptive in their business practices. STAY FAR AWAY!!!!

My family and I reserved a room at this motel, it was our first time in Hampton Beach. It was a very accommodating place with a nice staff. Our room was good, it was clean and quiet. Our A/C was not working so they had their maintenance worker fix it up as quickly as he could. Any problems we had they would try to help solve it. It is not to close to the beach but it's only a good 8-14 minute walk. They have a rooftop pool where you can lie down and relax. I recommend to all my friends & family.

I agree with the "Stay Away" reviewer. We went this past weekend (7/23/10) and was totally disgusted by the uncleanliness of the room. The nappy blankets had cigarette burns, the carpet, although vacuumed, was filthy and every ledge (trim, base of lamps, etc) was covered in dirt and dust. It wasn't just our room either; the other couple traveling w/us had an equally dirty room. The sink was outside of the bathroom and one window's screen had a whole in it. The stairwell was dark and the carpeting filthy. Yuck, yuck, yuck.

Utter filthy rooms, cigarette holes in blankets, dirty towels look like they were used to clean grease off of a car, smelly, sticky countertops, smoke detectors not hooked up, door to room didn't seal, dust over a year old building up on surfaces, someones hair in tub drain, no phones, and no personality to the people what so ever...guests checking in next to us said the same thing about their room...if you want to stay here go ask to see your room first...better yet stay away!!

Me and my brother went there originally to repair the pool that the previous owners had left in shambles after a long days work we decided that we kinda wanted to stay the night in Hampton just to kind of escape manchester. The staff and owners were more then accommodating but verry respectfull as well. I grabbed my wife and son and we all headed up for the night! I can honestly say I had the time of my life and would refer anyone to this hotel. As would my wife and brother. For anyone who may have stayed in the past try it again youll love it!

I must say that I had a very good and relaxing time at the Hampton Harbor Motel the week of the 14 of June. This hotel is very family friendly and located perfectly on the beach. Your not having to deal with the crowds, but yet everything is just right there. I would definitely be going back this year and years to come.
