Hampton Harbor Motel, Hampton

I must say that I had a very good and relaxing time at the Hampton Harbor Motel the week of the 14 of June. This hotel is very family friendly and located perfectly on the beach. Your not having to deal with the crowds, but yet everything is just right there. I would definitely be going back this year and years to come.

The rooms are clean and the place is quiet.. We like the no visitor rule and no pets. Thats what keeps the place quiet!!!! And you only see or hear from the owner when you break the rules. Then you write a bad review. I think the place is great.......

Worst place i have ever stayed the owners are scummy beligerent tyrants who get more joy throughing thier weight around enforcing thier silly rules than making thier guests feel welcome and comfortable the husban is on a ego/power trip I am surprised or would be more surprised if he has not caught a beatin or two for his insane antics.

the room was cold and was told we couldn't leave the door open to get some warm air inthe room it would mess up the air. also when we went to the beach we came back and they were in our room to close the windows THEY SHOULD OF WAITED TILL WE RETURNED don't you all agree.Won't be going back there to that place

This hotel gave the impression that it was a AAA hotel. This is far from true. When we made reservations we were told that we could come by noon and check in. When we arrived we were met at the door by the very rude owner telling us that checkin wasn`t until 2. Then she proceded to say that because of the central air that we were not able to open the windows, or she would tell everyone in the hotel who caused the air conditioner to blow out and send them to our room to retaliate. We were also told that we could not have any guests or they would charge us $20 for each one.We ended up having to wait for 1 hour before we could check in. We were decieved online with the ocean view and balconys. When we got our room it was in a corner of the building with the air conditioning unit on the opposite side of the wall from our bed. The unit was humming so loud that it vibrated our bed and the noise kept us awake all night. The bathroom was disgusting, moldy shower curtain and hair in the tub drain and the sink was on the other side of the wall outside the bathroom.The lock on the door wasn`t very safe either, and the door was so old that if you pushed hard enough from the outside anyone could have broken in. And the pool on the rooftop was a joke.It wasn`t what they made it out to be and it was leaking onto the cars in the carport underneath. This was my first time renting at hampton beach and wasn`t familiar with any hotels or the areas they were in. We were definately in the slum area right at the beginning of the boardwalk. I suggest staying away from this place if you are looking to have an enjoyable vacation. There are many other hotels to choose from...Choose one of them!!!

WHAT A DUMP! RUDE UNPLEASANT UNKEPT PEOPLE WHO RUN THIS HOTEL.WE HAD ASKED BEFORE WE BOOKED WE MIGHT HAVE VISITORS. IT WAS OK & $15.00 PER PERSON.WHEN TIME CAME WE WANTED THEM TO STAY AT THE POOL FOR A FEW HOURS( NOT OVERNIGHT) AND WE OFFERED TO PAY .(WE SPENT THE DAY AT THE BEACH.)WHEN WE PARKED THE CAR TO GO AND EAT WITH THE KIDS,THE WOMAN SAID THEY WOULD THROW US OUT IF WE LET THEM USE THE BATHROOM. (LIKE THEY COULD 1 ROLL OF TP FOR 3DAYS FOR 2.)WE WHERE THE ONLY ONES THERE.I DON'T GET IT?HARD BEDS, SMELLY ROOM.(GOT AIR FRESHENER) MOLD IN BATHROOM.IS THIS WHAT $80.00 PER DAY GET YOU OFF SEASON. BEST THING WAS WE COULD WALK EVERYWHERE.WE WANTED TO GO.

I liked the pool. and I thought the owners were very nice. they seemed sad that it was raining on of the days we were there. Like they could do anything about it!! its just as expencive as everything other place on Hampton Beach

Our family stayed there this summer and we will never stay there again. I have to agree with one of the other reviews about the owners being rude.

We hadnt stayed @ Hampton Beach for a few years because last time we stayed we payed an outrageous amount for a room that was a distance away from the beach and boardwalk !! This time we lucked out and we were able to get a room here and it was a very short walk to the ocean and the boardwalk and it was very reasonable in price. The rooftop pool was very unique and very enjoyable for my family and very relaxing,my wife loved it and she can be a tough critic ! The whole motel was very clean and for a family of 5 we felt very comfy in our room. The viewsfrom the top floor were exceptional and found ourselves drawn to the ocean time and time again because of them ! In close, I will state that our vacation was truly an enjoyment because the owners do care about making sure that the people who stay with them have an enjoyable stay and i realized this fact by 2 points, firstly by vacationers that we met that were returning visitors here and secondly,giving us a warm and sincere send off. If its Hampton Beach then its Hampton Harbor Motel....Hands down !!

My friend and I stayed three nights at this hotel....and my credit card was charged four nights. I've called twice for my credit card to be issued a credit for one night. Have yet to see it. The beds are horrible. Matress on a board, hard as a rock...we ended up putting two mattresses on top of eachother. WHERE IS MY REFUND?
