Second worst hotel I ever stayed in

And that's saying a lot. I used to spend 175 nights per year in hotels. The room was very outdated. The beds were uncomfortable. The light in the bathroom was burned out. The air conditioning didn't work. The tiles in the bathroom were covered with mold. It was only $60 per night and it wasn't worth that.

the motel rates were the best in the area,...would come back...Great location on Rt 1...near everything..the owner was very accommadating...the rooms were clean..definitly would book again with Spring Fountain

nice place to stay

we have been to maine many times, and usually stay in bangor, but we took a different route this time and happened upon this motel. it was quite a nice little place, and has a nice small town appeal. the house keeping was great and the rooms were very comfortable. will definitely stop there on our next trip to maine.

Great location friendly owner.

This motel has a great location, right on rts 1 and 15. It's conveniently located on the way to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, as well as Bangor. The motel is a great deal with large clean comfortable rooms. It is operated by the owner who is very friendly. I've been to Maine in June before, and have paid much more for a substandard room. At $50 in June, this room was a steal. Would definitely go back.
