Anchorage Motel, Bar Harbor

The clerk was rude, the "owners son" was rude. The rooms were disgusting (1st one was dirty & a very SMOKEY non-smoking room, the 2nd 1 they tried to give us was dirtier with a huge puddle of who-knows-what by the TV)! We HAD to leave, they STILL charged our card! I've NEVER been so unhappy with a hotel before.

This place has everything you look for in a small motel. It's a 5 minute walk to downtown, about a 10 minute drive to Acadia. The rooms are good sized, clean and appear to be freshly painted. The staff was friendly and helpful. By now you know the price is reasonable. I would not look at another place to stay on my next visit. The Anchorage is perfect for us. Thanks again, Howard

This is a great place to stay in Bar Harbor. This motel is a quick walk to the shops, restaurants, and harbor. The staff was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here. I recommend this motel to anyone who wants a nice, clean room at a reasonable price.

The service is friendly and helpful, clean rooms, and it is very convenient for walking into town!
