Pacific Islands Club Guam, Tamuning

Water Park and lunch was great! However the room was terrible (Motel 6 type), mold in the bathroom, walls were white and not homely at all. AC does not blow cold enough for my comfort level. I called and complained and asked for a fan, which they did not have. My wife called to see if they had a better room or could upgrade us. They were not helpful however for a $100 more dollars we could upgrade (I am betting the rooms aren't that much better and still not satisfactory to me). The room was already overpriced so I declined to pay any more. The room is not worth it! Outdated. We ended up packing up and headed back home to be more comfortable, however we are headed back today to enjoy the pool. I am so happy I didn't stay last night and let that place bring me down. We will never stay at the hotel again.

I've stayed at the PIC on four occasions for social functions and for what they charge, you really should get more. By far out of all the hotels we've stayed at on Guam (Marriott, Outrigger, Westin) their bed's are the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE. You will not get a good nights sleep unless you are use to sleeping on the floor (that's what it feels like). Most of the rooms we have stayed in were dated and in need of some cleaning as far as dusty vents and walls in need of paint. Ants were a minor problem, but ants are everywhere on Guam. The bathrooms were really outdated, especially the shower/tub area...in need of new caulking, and the tub missing a stopper. The most appealing feature of this resort is the waterpark, it offers something for every age (infant and up). But, waterparks are a dime-a-dozen on Guam. There are plenty which charge way less for entry, i.e., Tarza. The buffets are okay. Breakfast buffet has been "pared" down it isn't as extensive as it use to be. The decor is dated and getting a highchair (for my one year old) that wasn't broken or disgustingly dirty was a challenge. Not bad for one nights stay if you can get a REALLY good deal; but for longer than that if you want to be able to sleep comfortably, go somewhere else.

Pic is fun for the family no matter where you want to go PIC is there. They have great costomer service. Exellent service, and is right by the beach it just keeps getting better and better.

First, my rate was considerably less than the advertised $214. We stayed for a military contract rate of $90/day. The first night we were put into one of the older towers and the room left a bit to be desired. (cleanliness was ok, it was just outdated and needed a paint job). The next morning I asked for a room with a better view. We were put into one of the newer areas between the two towers in a room facing the water park. No complaints on the new room. The BIG SELL here is the water park and beach. If you enjoy the sun, water, and outdoor activities it doesn't get any better. You could spend the entire day in the pool area. There are multiple waterslides, game pools (basketball, polo), a HUGE kiddie pool, a kayak lagoon, tennis and badmitton(sp?) courts, a snorkel/scube pool w/ local marine life, live entertainment in the evenings and much more. BUT, there are almost as many things to do on the beach (which is unlike any beach you'll see in the mainland states). They offer snorkeling, swimming, sailboarding (free lessons available), and have a few small sailboats. Waves break on the reef about 200 yards from the beach so there is a whole lot of calm water to play in, without getting slapped by a wave (surfers will need to go to a different beach). I could go on. I'll end this by saying that I was very impressed with PICs facilities and we had a great time. A great place for kids and adults of all ages. (and to not slight the cooks, the buffets were also top notch).

I liked the water park they had at this hotel. What I didn't like was the bathroom was plain, the room was plain, the carpet was dirty, the bed spread had a stain in it as if it hadn't been washed and the bed was extremely hard, so hard in fact my husband and I checked out at 4 am because we couldn't sleep comfortably. This room was way too expensive for all of that. For that price, the show and dinner should have been included. The PIC, needs to work on the look. Like I said te only thing that was good was the water park.

P.I.C is best and fantasic hotel in guam. They treat you like a king and queen they even serve you more then what you deserve , and i rate this holtel 101 % excellent for everything they do for you . you should take a time to go there because everything is skyrocket and blast place to visit. they have performance (exaple: hula danceing, dinner shows,fire danceing, etc.)so if i were you i would take a time off and visit this amazing hotel of guam.... beacause once you visit you would never want to go back home... enjoy your visit...

If I had to say anything bad about this place will be that there is not enough time in four days to fully enjoy it. Plan for at least a week.

PIC was wonderful because it has so much to do- from windsurfing to water obstacles, volleyball to drinking parties. It is right on the beach and very close to down town.

We had a fabulous time! My family litterally never left the hotel, between the free kyacking, swiming, activities and Kids Club, there is nothing else you could want. The staff was fun and courteous. We'll be going back for the holidays!!

It was the best stay in guam i have ever had. The resorts were great. I found nothing wrong. The nightclubs were a blast and the beds were just right. Keep up the great work!
